I echo many of the reviews below, the hotel is modern, minimalist and fun. The location is in a very fun part of town which is some way away from the centre and great to explore. The staff are especially helpful and the service is great. Many thanks to the lovely Freja and her colleagues on the front desk. A couple of logistical observations. Due to Milanese traffic, getting ubers and taxis from the hotel at particular times of day is very challenging. Uber does not function as in London and is sometimes more expensive than a taxi. Taxis are very slow in rush hour traffic. As a reviewer pointed out, you can hop onto the tramline 3 (in a parallel street) and coast up to the Duomo and other central areas. You can use your credit/debit card to tap in the tram (machine located centre), which is very practical. Another alternative is to walk to Porto Genova, ca 10 mins away and get the M5 into the centre. Again, just tap in and out of the barriers. Milan felt very safe and there are many people on the transports at night. Milan is also very pet friendly so for those missing their pets on holiday, check out a small bar called VIP is a few doors down from the hotel, and you can pet a friendly Alsatian called Stella. She turned 11 recently and the whole street and passers by adore her. A good place to have a drink as well. I would definitely come back to this part of town and the hotel.
