Premier Inn Middlesbrough Town Centre ★★★

"Greeted on arrival by 6 members of staff smoking at the front doors despite having their own designated smoking area at the back of the hotel in the car park. Check-in was efficient, not sure why we had to declare my name as an "additional guest" when the room was already booked for 2. No second key card which meant my disabled husband had to be plunged into darkness every time I had to go to the ground floor (as the key card operates the lift up). Room was clean and comfortable. Shower curtain not long enough in the bath which meant water went all over the floor. Also, only one set of towels, as if they were only expecting one person staying. Reception did give me more on asking, but I feel this should have been done on preparing the room. Decent night sleep, no external disruptions. Breakfast was traditional Premier Inn buffet style which set me up for the day."

"Very nice , customers service"

Highfield Hotel ★★★

"Stayed in a twin with my son for the football for convenience, only one of everything ( towel / cup etc ) as in they wrongly assumed 1 person was staying there. Very , very average warm / cold breakfast was served the next day. For the money it's a good location and free parking."
