Cadillac Hotel Boutique

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Courteous staff, clean, and fun vibe. One bonus of this hotel too is that it that it is accessible with an elevator. It is also very close to many sights in the Historic Neighbourhood and between two Metro stations. I had a basic twin room which was a bit smaller than anticipated and ended up having two separate loft beds; while this was fine and fun as a solo traveller (or if you want space from your travel partner), you might want to look at a different room or clarify the bed situation if you want to share with a loved one. I disliked the dim indancescent lighting which made it hard to see what I was doing, even with all of the separate lights to turn on for different parts of the room. Additionally I found that noise carried a lot throughout the hotel and you could also hear noise from the street. It is in a very busy neighbourhood in a very busy city so do keep that in mind. My window faced an empty space, not even the street. When I closed it that helped with the noise but did make the room stuffy (and not smell great not great after a full day of walking and travelling around). Breakfast was light and basic but good. The restaurant had tourist prices but honestly no better or worse than I'd seen at other places in Mexico City, and the waiter was kind and excellent. The drinks he made were some of the best I had in Mexico City. Overall I'd recommend this hotel if you want to stay in the Historical Neighbourhood.

Private rooftop jacuzzi was top notch. Very cool design and decor. Cleaning needs a bit more attention for the price….hairs from someone’s shaving were in the bathroom sink upon arrival and dirty floor. Simple oversight but worth mentioning for management to monitor a bit closer. It wouldn’t deter me from staying here at all. The hotel is a great deal for the money. Excellent location if you want to be in the city center. I personally prefer Roma Norte for walking to restaurants but it just depends on your agenda. If seeing sights is the objective and having a cool oasis to return to I think this fits the bill. Forget the Karen’s complaining about lack of AC (it’s not needed in CDMX) and the rooms are easy to relax in and I slept great. Beds are fine. Noise? It’s Mexico City but I found it very peaceful. I’ll be back for sure.

Spent 4 days at this artsy boutique hotel and it definitely exceeded my expectations. Tere was one of the most helpful staff members. Her recommendations for food to try out, and knowledge about the popular attractions of her hometown was a huge plus. Thank you for having me!

The staff was amazing! The room has a cozy feel to it with very nice lighting. Daily housekeeping is always a plus.

I .could hear all noise from the other guests. Breakfast is very "basic". Other than that it is a great place to stay

Hotel is nice and has potential but it is a little pricey for not having A/C unit on room, hard to set water temp on shower, not as close to historic center as it makes you think, bed very firm, fridge didn't work well.

I've stayed here before and love it. Wonderful staff. Super cool design. They have fans just ask. I was in a king room this time and the bed was super comfortable. Special thanks to Victor and Ricardo for taking good care of me. I appreciate it! See all again I'm sure.

Customer service was beyond pleasant, you will be greeted by security at the gate early morning and late night. My single bed included a spacious guest room, seperate dining room, two smart TV's, and a smart home device. Although, the bed was stiff as a rock and the room wasn't air conditioned. You will find a serene escape to/from the busiest markets in Mexico City here. Also, check out the rustic wooden interior design and Lucha Libre murals!! So happy with the customer service at Cadillac Hotel México City!!

The thing that annoyed me the most about this property is that I had traveled all day to get to Mexico and I was extremely tired. I was told I couldn't check in until 3p because all of the rooms were full. I said ok and waited 2.5 hours. It was 2:56pm when I asked if I could check in, but instead of being accommodated, I was told I needed to wait 5 more minutes! Are you kidding me?! They actually told me to wait 5 more minutes until it was exactly 3pm. I was beyond livid because my room was available and so waiting an extra 5 minutes made no sense. When I finally get to the room, it smelled like backed-up sewage. The smell was strongest in the bathroom. There were times when I had to hold my breath because the smell was so bad. And because there is NO air conditioning in the rooms, there was zero air filtration. I was there for 4 nights, and every night I would wake up drenched in my own sweat, and coughing from dry air. This was not an ideal vacation stay. The sewage smelled grossed me out every day and the lack of central air is a joke given the cost of the rooms at this hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to further travelers.
