Tropical Attitude,

Great service from the staff. They made our anniversary extra special for us. We were just a bit disappointed with the food, we mostly ate out at other restaurants when we stayed here. I'd highly recommend a stay in the villa. Unfortunately, the beach side is only good to look at and not good to get into.

We stayed at tropical attitude for a week in March and had an amazing holiday. The hotel itself is very small which we knew when we booked, although smaller when we arrived than we had envisaged from pictures. We actually loved this for a change and the small family feel was great. The staff are all amazing and a massive credit to the resort. They will go out of their way to help with anything you need. Our room was great, we had a ground floor superior room and it was very spacious. Was it 10/10 clean possibly not but let’s remember this is a 3star hotel and it was cleaner than some with higher stars we’ve been to! I did feel every room would benefit from a clothes drying rack on the wall outside, it seemed you could ask for one as I saw a couple on balconies but it would be a good standard addition. Likewise with umbrellas, just one umbrella in each room would be good because you have to walk in the rain to reception to request one. The evening buffet selection was good, small but great quality and always something to choose. We really enjoyed the food. The fixed lunch menu did get repetitive and we were only there for a week so we felt this was long enough for us. Sundays there is a buffet lunch instead of the menu. The bulk shop worked well and we used this daily, it’s a great idea. Providing something to carry all of the bottles to your room especially on arrival to stock your fridge would be helpful (a basket you can return for example). They also had some amazing items to purchase in the shop, much nicer than the airport so definitely buy there before you head home or you might regret it. It gets very hot so the shaded areas around the pool are welcome - it would benefit from more umbrellas (ones that are not broken!). A lot of people were trying to opt for shade and the open rooftop areas were often empty, it could be difficult to find shade when the poolside beds were busy. You could however always find somewhere and it never ever felt too busy or crowded anywhere. The pool was perfect for what you need and we spent lots of time in there, it was very much in need of a good clean and we did raise this with reception as part of our feedback. It’s difficult to book onto the hotel run excursions as they are busy - the glass bottom boat/snorkelling etc. Make sure to book them up when you arrive. It’s definitely worth a trip to il aux Cerfs for a change of scenery, but we did this as part of a 5 island boat trip instead so didn’t go via the hotel. We didn’t feel you needed to visit there twice. We were eaten alive so come prepared! Overall there is no reason we wouldn’t return here and we had such an amazing week!

The day we landed in Mauritius we have been struggling for good vegetarian food. Luckily we met sou chef vikash who spoke to us and understood our struggle post that he made sure to prepare delicious special vegetarian options for us apart from the buffet. All the staffs and people here are super friendly and helpful. Sou chef vikash and help Kamini are great great people

We met sou chef Vikash at tropical attitude resort Mauritius he has magic in his hands We were actually struggling with food here as there are very less options for vegetarians… when we spoke to him he understood and started preparing veg options specially for us and made sure we ate well He is very friendly and makes delicious food!!!!

This was my 2nd visit ( sadly too 22 years to get back! ). Lovely hotel, fantastic staff & great food. Perfect hotel for a relaxing holiday.

It was our honeymoon trip to Tropical Attitude, Mauritius. Best location, best rooms, best room service, best staff, best pool. Chef vikas had given us nice tasty food, Raj on bar counter given us the best drinks. Rasel and Karan was there to always help us anytime. Nazima has done good room service daily. Hotel has given us too many complimentary activities like spa, glass bottom, snorkeling, one candle light dinner etc. Overall it was a best trip I had. And the hospitality was too good. Always smiling staff. Go for it 😍😇

Amazing hotel with great view in front of our seafront rooms! If you are looking for a nice and quiet place to relax, this is the go to place! Service is 10/10 and that includes the restaurant staff, reception, and cleaning crew as well. Only issue we had was allergies due to dust in our room, however, since it was a short stay, we did not inform the staff. I would definitely go back there again! Such a nice place to relax
