"What a fantastic hotel with very attentive staff, excellent facilities, giving a real touch of luxury, and superb food. We had a seafront, ground floor room, which had the most amazing outlook over the turquoise sea, well worth it as some rooms seemed to have dark patios. The restaurants are excellent, our favourite was Lemongrass followed by Coral. The atmosphere in Kot Nou was great but the food was not as impressive as the other restaurants. Do book in advance, we emailed the hotel the week before we arrived. We went kayaking, snorkelling and on the glass bottom boat trip, which were all included, and very enjoyable. A big shout out to Henna, she was absolutely fantastic in the bar, so personable and efficient and very missed on her days off. Also, Ganesha, in the Seabreeze bar, who was friendly and provided excellent service. This is a wonderful hotel, we would definitely recommend it to friends and family. Lots to see on the island- taxis are readily available from the hotel. We went to Port Louis, around half an hour away, you have to visit the markets! We also had an organised day out to a tea factory, La Vanille Nature Park and Gris Gris, a viewing point on the south coast. Grand Baie is worth a visit just along the coast and we walked to the church at Cap Malheureux which took around 25 mins which is definitely worth a visit. "
