My husband & I visited Tropical Attitude 7th - 21st October to celebrate my 60th & our 11th Wedding anniversary in one word this place is AMAZING! We arrived early evening to a welcome drink & a freshen up warm flannel. We were given a brief overview of the resort but advised we would be fully updated the next morning (we duly were). We & our cases were taken to our private Villa (we plumped for this rather than the standard rooms). Villa had private garden, small pool, hammock & two sun beds. The veranda had a fridge, cutlery, crockery & tea/coffee making facilities. The bedroom very good size, bathroom with two showers (rainforest & normal) which had a feel of being outside and of course air conditioning. There is also a plug in mosquito repellent, which worked very well as they generally ‘love me!’. The private garden shelters from the wind which can be a positive & a negative depending on the daily temp of course. Kamini was our daily housekeeper who kept our room spotless but the most important was her daily ‘towel’ art, beautiful, we loved coming back from breakfast to find what little treasure awaited us, never disappointed particularly on our anniversary & my birthday. We booked All-inclusive and were more than happy with the food and drink available, however branded drinks were not included except Sandeman Port (which was not available on two occasions when we requested) At lunchtime it is Al la Carte, breakfast & evening meal is buffet with plenty of options, to suit all tastes. Twice a week there is the option (additional cost) to partake in the BBQ which is either the fish or meat platter - word of warning ensure you are hungry - portion huge! If the weather is good this takes places outside, we did this twice once indoors and the second time outside, a bit windy but we enjoyed the experience. We had four treatments in the Spa - note this is a treatment spa and has no other facilities. Imla, Nadia & Koossoom, were our therapists very accommodating and lovely relaxing experience. Karen is your go to for trip info, help around the resort and local knowledge. Nothing is too much trouble. The resort also has complimentary trips - glass bottom boat & snorkelling neither we were able to do, despite trying, because of the wind! We enjoyed the Catamaran trip (additional cost) which took you to the waterfall (do not expect Niagara Falls), saw the monkeys, snorkelling, on board BBQ (delicious), free on board alcohol & non-alcoholic drinks and a stop at Iles les Cerfs (very commercial). We very much enjoyed the Cookery lesson with Vikesh at the resort, good fun, my husband loved the Curry I made The resort provides beach towels, toiletries inc. hair & body wash and liquid soap along with hand and bath towels the room also had bathrobes. In the all inclusive you can restock daily your mini bar with four drinks Phoenix beer or soft drinks, there are other varieties at additional cost. You are also provided with two water bottles that you
