Onyado Nono Matsumoto Natural Hot Spring

~7min walk from Matsumoto station with many food options nearby, on usual days. We went on 31 Dec to 1 Jan and the streets were empty; shops were 99% closed, except for Parco / big malls. Hotel staffs were super helpful and friendly. I loved the shoe locker concept at the main entrance of the hotel; you lock your shoes and go barefooted around the hotel. Hotel staff assisted to check on available restaurant opening hours, as well as reservation on 31 Dec since we weren't sure if places were open. Onsen (both indoor and outdoor) was the best, coupled with complimentary laundry facility (dryer at 100yen). Shampoo and body wash were all available for use. There are vending machines at the common area outside the bathroom. Complimentary ramen at night (do check with the hotel on the timing). Soba over new year's countdown at midnight was yummy. Wonderful overall experience. Will explore Onyado in other cities in future!

Very nice hotel with tatami. They serve free ramen at night. I enjoyed their breakfast a lot. Will definitely stay there when I go back to Matsumoto.

Had a great stay at the hotel. Hotel is walkable distance from Matsumoto station, it is clean and all occupants have to remove shoe upon entering. Love the free ramen service at night and the popsicles after onsen. Room is clean, bed is a little hard for me but still great! Alls good, would love to come back again.

The location of this hotel is convenient. It takes about seven-minute walking distance from the train station. It is quiet at night. Quite surprisingly, you have to take off your shoes and store them in cabinet before you are allowed to walk freely inside the premises even inside your room. The price during weekend is reasonable. Room is comparatively small. Amenities are well equipped. Don't miss your welcome drink and onsen on 10th floor.

It is a very nice hotel. Although the room is small, it is functional and very clean. The breakfast food is excellent. The staffs are very nice. It has Onsens, sauna, and snacks. I had a wonderful stay at the hotel.

Great location...amazing Japanese vibe and loved the onsen spa on the roof. There is indoor and outdoor onsen with lovely night views (cover with plasters for any tattoos as it says not allowed on the wall) -perfect before bed in the spacious, tatami rooms. Impeccable service, I used Japanese so not sure of English levels. Also reception drinks available. I used to live in Matsumoto and this is the best value I have had since I left. Will definitely come back.
