An excellent choice for your stay in Matera. The rooms were lovely and very comfortable. The swimming pool was great for an afternoon break from the heat and walking. The staff and breakfast were excellent!!

Staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. The location is about a 10 minute walk to the beginning of the Sassi area and a little longer uphill on the way back (although taxis are available at the edge of the Sassi area.) Room was very nice and clean. The majority of the light came from our large terrace otherwise the room was a bit on the dark side. I would still recommend staying at this hotel.

great little boutique hotel. got a large room, well aquiped with a very big balcony.. sadly, it was raining so couldn’t enjoy it. nice breakfast and great people wellcoming you and taking care of every desire you might have. very clean and well kept.

Stayed there 1 night only but were very impressed and definitely shall go back one day. Enza from the reception kindly reserved us a room by phone and held it without prepayment even. Once we arrived, she kindly provided us with the map, marking the best attractions, places to eat, etc. Very helpful indeed! The hotels is just steps away from Sassi and the city center. Their parking is very convenient and safe. Was a bit fresh for swimming but pool is nice and clean, they also have a cosy garden. Clean and spacious room and bathroom, perfectly fresh croissants for breakfast.

Amazing place , great taste , fabulous details and overall fabulous customer service from Enza, Alessia and the rest of the staff as well as its Magnificent owner Mr Cosimo. It’s an amazing experience ti stay here. Just six blocks away from the center of Matera old town where you can just walk . Great parking space , fabulous and well kept garden. For breakfast lovers this is the place. High quality products , great coffees and an amazing variety of things as well as amazing croissants warm and baked daily . If you come to Matera , this is a great experience.

On the outskirts of town, this hotel is very clean and well maintained but slightly dated. The only hotel out of the 6 we stayed in, in this part of Italy to have a kettle in the room! The room was on the top floor, lift only to floor below and it was quite a climb to carry our cases. The room was spacious if not a little utilitarian. Breakfast was good and the staff went above and beyond to help retrieve a lost item from the airport.

Room was very clean and beds comfortable. Staff were first class. Alessia was very welcoming on our arrival. Daniel was particularly helpful as he organised a taxi to collect my laptop from Bari airport. Sadly didn't have time to use the pool which looked very inviting.

Very nice hotel in beautiful surroundings. Very nice roms, fine pool, good breakfast and serviceminded straff. A little walking distanse from the city centre, but nice and quiet. Recommended for everyone visiting Matera. We will like to come back some time.

We stayed for three nights in this hotel. Good breakfast, excellent coffee. Perfect location; the historic centre is within a ten minutes walk. Staff was very friendly and very, very helpful. We had problems with our rental car and they helped us out very adequately. A big thank you to all the staff members, especially to Alessia and Benedetta.
