Was lovely staying at the ibis hotel. The location was central.i would recommend it to anyone visiting marseille.

We've always found Ibis to suit our needs. Budget/Styles/Normal Ibis are all very basic, but clean and good value. However, our trip through France has shown this doesn't apply in France. Dirty, poorly maintained, unhelpful staff. This Ibis is exactly that and while it needs a refresh, why can't they just clean the rooms? Even with the disrepair, we would be fine with a basic clean room. But mould everywhere, walls are FILTHY, even hair on the walls. It is a genuine lack of attention to detail that extends throughout the hotel, and i'm sure into the kitchen areas where breakfast is made as well. Poor stay. Only positive is the underground parking, though at €15 a night.

Very noisy stay. The noise was mainly coming from outside and the above room. Everything in the bathroom was rusty. The bed was comfy; the staff was friendly and helpful. The price was fair considering the rugby game that night. But overall a disappointing experience.

We were in Room 212. The shower room extractor fan did not work, and there was a lot of mould on the tiles. Clearly there are problems with cleaning the rooms which is a worry. Havng paid over €700 for three nights (it was the rugby World Cup) I expect at least to have a room that has been properly cleaned.

I have been in this hotel for business in two days. The desk personnel was polite and fast, during the check-in. The room was enough spaces for one guest, as well as the bathroom, where the shower was a real shower, and not a typical French one, with the tube. Both spaces were quite cleaned. In the hotel there's the internal restaurant, which is more focused on cooking meat. A positive point for the hotel is the internal and CLOSED car parking, mostly for people travelling for business. Hotel well maintained and recommended.

My husband and I have been coming to this hotel for 2yrs now, since our newborn daughter was diagnosed with a rare liver disease. This hotel is just next to the Timone hospital. The staff here has been so wonderful and welcoming since our first day. They do everything to help make our stay as comfortable as possible. It’s always a pleasure to come here, with all the stress of the hospital. Thank you to everyone there, we appreciate the great hospitality! It’s like a second family!

I booked this hotel per recommendation by the conference I was attending at the convention center. The room was tiny even for European standards but it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was served early with an attentive staff. The best parts about this hotel were the location - half a block from the metro stop and a large grocery store and ATM across the street. The other outstanding quality was the front desk staff. Always pleasant, very attentive, and helpful. We had dinner ever night in the Vieux-port because it was a quick 4 stops on the metro so it didn’t matter to us that there may not have been decent restaurants near the hotel. For the price, I would stay here again for the pleasantness of the staff and convenience of location.

L Hôtel est bien situe Accueil parfait Chambre très correcte Le petit déjeuner est excellent avec tout ce qu il fallait Le seule bémol serait sur l amabilité de la serveuse du restaurant . J avoue que j ai rarement vu une personne aussi désagréable

Hôtel très propre et personnel très sympathique et aux petits soins. Les chambres sont agréables et la literie parfaite. Le restaurant Courtepaille est extrêmement pratique et très convenable. La situation de l’hôtel était idéale pour la raison de notre venue. Nous reviendrons

Tout avait bien commencé lors de mon séjour... malheureusement, j'ai perdu la facture... j'ai vécu L'ENFER pour récupérer ma facture par téléphone : 1) Je tombe sur un abominable système (appuyez sur 2) qui me renvoie à un formulaire... 2) Quand par hasard, j'arrive à avoir quelqu'un, elle me demandante d'attendre ou de rappeler en prétextant qu'elle ne m'entend pas... alors qu'elle a TOUT compris d ce que je disais (plusieurs phrases échangées). 3) Elle même coupe 4) Je rappelle ('énervé) elle mme passe son collègue ou son chefaillon.. qui me coupe 5) Je suis obligé de rappeler x fois pour me faire entendre et obtenir..; l'email de cet "hotel" dans lequel je ne remettrai plus jamais les pieds ! 6) Au total, j'ai perdu une demi-heure pour espérer obtenir ma facture...
