The friendliest place we've ever stayed which is why we visit every year! Staff and owners will do anything to make your stay as comfortable as possible and will sort any problems you have (as long as you tell them!)

Firstly arrived and was asked why so late . Was then expected to sit and chat for around an hour before someone even offered to show me the room ( my flight got in at 2300) I get to the room it’s absolutely nothing like the pictures. The air con is broken and it’s around 30 degrees during the day . It is impossible to sleep at night with all of the noise as had to keep all of the windows open , still sweated that much that the bed was damp . Everything is extra from air con ( that doesn’t work ) the safe In the room , all of these things come as standard in literally every other air b&b / hotel I’ve ever stayed at . I really wish I could leave a more positive review but had to cut my stay short and will be staying at a hotel closer to the airport so I can at-least get some sleep before my return flight.

Arrived at midnight and was greeted by the young man who has took over the running of the apar**ents from his parents. Only issue was our 2 lads in there early 20-s had to share a double bed the first night as they weren't informed that they we were a family of 4 and weren't 2 couples . This issue was immediately fixed the nxt morning.and also after asking for a ground floor flat due to my wife's disabilities. We were very disappointed to be given the only 2 apar**ents that had to go up a big flight of stairs. The owner said he unfortunately wasn't informed from jet 2 of our request. And all lower dwelling were in use.The rooms we had were fine. Basic. but fine. Had to pay for air con and a safe but was happy to do so. Air con was a must. The place is fantastic. The family are friendly and engaging. The pool area is great.pool table and tv and comfy seating era. Pool loungers bit uncomfortable but that's being picky. Christina who makes all the breakfasts and lunchtime snacks is a absolute diamond. Can't do enough. The area is quiet with supermarket very close by. Only 10 min walk down to the ***** where there are loads of bars and restaurants. The owner even let us keep one of our rooms till we left at 7pm which was a fantastic gesture. Great place will definitely go back but will be making sure to contact the apar**ent manager directly about getting a ground floor apar**ent.

We are a young couple on our first holiday together. Absolutely loved our stay. Apar**ent was really Modern and very clean. Perfect location close to the ***** but far enough from the noise. Owners really friendly. Would definitely go back again

Went to the Melissa Apts for 11 nights B&B and had the best holiday ever!! Located in the old town of Malia, a short walk to the beautiful tavernas of old town. Only 5 minutes walk to the party ***** ( for the younger people) . 15 minutes walk to the sandy beaches. George and Ingrid together with their son Ilios and daughter Anna made us feel very much at home. Christina was also an absolute pleasure everyday!! Her breakfasts were amazing 😃 There friendly family run apar**ents feel more like a villa. The only people who don’t like how they run things are the selfish people who go on holiday and have no regard for others which unfortunately in this world there are many. They care about everyone enjoying their apar**ents which is also their home. They want you to relax and enjoy your holiday but also respect their home which they have built over the past 30+ years. Alex the security man is only there to try and keep the more rowdy. ( party people) quiet when they’re coming in at 4 or 5 in morning to allow others to get their sleep. Finally if your planning a Malia trip I say “ if you treat people with respect and friendliness then you will receive it back from Melissa Apts massively” Donna and I are already planning to return next year just like many many previous guests have done. A hidden gem, close to both the old town and main ***** so conveniently located for all. Our family had two rooms side by side in the new apar**ents which are well appointed and spotlessly clean. An added bonus was that the rooms were regularly cleaned. Too top it all, George and Ingrid made us feel part of their family and are extremely welcoming. I Would definitely recommend this hotel for everyone.

The hotel was lovely, great location near the centre of malia, the rooms were lovely and the pool facilities were amazing the only thing letting it down was there security guard he was horrible to me and my friends, swearing at us screaming at us walking in our rooms without knocking he got so close up into my friends face that he was touching me making us all very uncomfortable, we were respectful to the hotel, we kept quiet and kept the rooms tidy but the security guard found any reason to come and tell us off, me and my friend were sat eating breakfast on the balcony at 7.30 in the morning making sure we were quiet out of respect for other residents and the security guard screamed at us telling us to go back to bed, i am really disappointed at the disrespect we received from him when everything else about the hotel was amazing SORT HIM OUT!!!

Where do i start with this gorgeous place! Myself and 3 friends stayed here for a balance of a good time and a chilled time, and the location was in perfect proximity of both. I could not fault any of the staff, who were so kind when i had a little injury on my first day. This place seemed to just attract friendly people. I would 100% come back here again and bring my family. I literally couldn't have asked for a better place to stay - affordable, welcoming and safe.

I stayed at the Melissa apar**ents 28th May for 5 nights. As a solo female traveller I chose these apar**ents after reading the reviews. I was not disappointed. A friendly, family run place which was close enough to new town but also far enough away for piece and quiet. The staff were so helpful and friendly. They gave me ideas and tips on places to go and nice restaurants and bars to have food and drinks at. My apar**ent was basic but was clean and had everything I needed, only downfall was no tv which I like for background noise and something to do if not going out with being on my own. After speaking to the other guests I found that many people return year after year and some come a few times a year. It was a quiet place to stay which I don’t know if it was the time of year or not but if you want a nice quiet friendly place to stay this is perfect.
