It's a nice hotel with good amenities and hospitality. Only thing is the location is towards the outskirt of Melaka, but it's okay since Grab car services is widely available. On the other hand, the outskirt location also gives some peaceful vibes, away from the city if you want to relax and rewind. There's a mall next to the hotel but too bad it didn't pull off. That had a bit of an impact on the aesthetic of the hotel.

The hotel is awesome, room size is huge. Bed and pillow is super comfortable, that make you unwilling to get off from the bed. Breakfast is good also. A lot of variety. Staff is friendly and helpful, welcome cookies is nice. Overall hotel is good and will come again next time.

The check in was smooth and easy by very friendly staff who also gave good information about hotel facilities. The overall stay experience was very pleasant. The food quality at Makan Kitchen was very good with very good spread of buffet dinner. Amin at Makan Kitchen was so helpful and friendly in arranging my dinner booking and I really appreciate it.

The rooms are all big in size and hotel staffs are very friendly even manage to give me same level rooms as I’m traveling with my kids. The room amenities are all good and have what we needed. Not forgetting our room view have sea view . Location is near to everywhere and many restaurants just across the hotel. Will come back again when we are in malacca. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

I had high expectations before my recent stay at your hotel. I noted that the parking was a bit limited. Upon check-in, I appreciated the welcome cookie from the counter staff. However, I encountered a couple of issues that affected my stay. The bathroom water pump was quite loud during showers, which was rather inconvenient. Additionally, I was a little disappointed that the hotel did not offer any decorations or a small birthday cake to help us celebrate our anniversary and birthday. I'm glad to hear that the breakfast buffet was great; hopefully, it helped make up for any negative impressions.

It's a pleasant stay as they give me a slice of cake for my Birthday. They arrange us at the high floor & good view but near the lift.

I was getting ready to go to bed when I noticed the air conditioner in the room was literally leaking, not even dripping. Technician came to check up after a complaint was made to the receptionist. The technician asked if I was willing to change room as it would take quite a while to fix the leaking issue. As it was, I moved room from level 27 to level 21 in bathrobe and hotel slippers together with all my stuff. There was only a nice chap from the hotel reception that came to assist with moving of my belongings. All these happened at 23:06 (11:06pm). Just a horrible experience to go through. However, breakfast buffet spread was very good and the staff are generally very approachable and helpful except the lady who was manning the reception that night (night of 8/4/2025) who just seemed very impatient over the phone. That being said, they moved me to a bigger room that night. The photos shown here are referring to the room that suffered the air conditioner leaking issue. I give them poor rating for the amenities based on the lack of servicing of the air conditioning unit in the room.

Location is good. But the carpark is quiet. Path to the hotel lift is also deserted as the shops are no longer there. Otherwise, views and services are awesome

Quite disappointed experience with this Doubletree. The mattress and pillows come with awful smell. Room is large but few corners are grown with spider nets

Excellent stay at Doubletree Hilton in Melaka. Although the hotel is situated at one corner, we Grab around for convenience. Breakfast is top notch with the variety offered. Gym is good. Swimming pool is small but adequate. Rooms are clean and good sized. Love the welcome cookies signature of Hilton.

Anna was a great cheerful presence at the front desk. She gave good suggestions for where to see. The cookies at check in was a welcome surprise for travellers who are hungry and tired after a long bus or plane ride. Housekeeping was very clean and the rooms were very spacious.
