The hotel is close to the airport which is what I needed. I arrived late and I was catching an early flight the next morning. The hotel is relatively new built. Walking into the lobby there is no sign as to where to check in. It’s misleading due to the checkin area being dressed as a bar and coffee shop but look closer and you will not be able to purchase said beverages here, it’s checkin and checkout only.
There is a restaurant in the hotel, around 30 something people waiting for food and drinks but only one person doing everything and no other staff to assist. I stood for 30 mins with 5 other people waiting to be seated and not a single person came to even apologise for the wait or to assist in seating.
I left the queue and headed outside to walk and see if there was a small shop nearby. Absolutely nothing. It’s on the edge of an industrial estate so no luck with any other restaurants or small shops nearby.
The rooms are nice, clean but the bed is super soft to sleep in. If you like that great, I live in China so beds are often much harder. However I woke and was able to get a taxi back to the airport very quickly.
Prices in the restaurant are very high. There are vending machines for snacks and drinks in the lobby area. These are also very expensive. €15 for a 7 inch thin cut pizza. €8.50 for a small baguette style sandwich with potato chips, not fries. €3.50 for a bottle of coke from the vending machine, €4.80 if you want a twin gas station sandwich pack. Be prepared the machines take card or coins. Not bank notes.
