Bio Hotel Hermitage

We were recommended this hotel from the Ski Company we used to book our holiday (Ski Solutions, who were very good). We were looking for a resort that would be good for Intermediate Skiers, with sophisticated bars and ski hire, which turned out to be Madonna di Campiglio. This hotel is about a 25 min walk (which is very picturesque) from the main centre but the walk is optional as the hotel provides a fantastic minibus service to the town, where there are some lovely bars and restaurants, shops and the walk-in access to the ski gondoliers. The hotel is beautifully appointed, with has very welcoming staff (its a family run business) and everything is designed to be top class. The restaurant delivered top quality food for breakfast and dinner and the bar offered every tipple you could wish for, including home made Grappa by the Grandma of the family. The main beauty of this hotel though (in addition to the onsite spa) is the views from the rooms (pics attached), they are breathtaking! There was something magical about coming home from the slopes and being able to sit on our balcony, sipping a local wine and looking across to the Dolomites as the sun set. It is approx 2 hours car drive from Verona and there is parking onsite.

We really love this hotel - it is the only place in the world we come back to again and again. The rooms are comfortable and so clean but the views from the rooms and terrace are spectacular. It really is in an ideal position and a lovely walk into the village. Barbara, her family and whole team are so welcoming, it is a gorgeous place to relax after walking in the mountains ( or skiing if you come in Winter). The bar and terrace are great spots to just have a drink, have lunch or sit and read a book in peace. The food deserves a special mention. We don’t normally have half board anywhere but we look forward to it here. The dinners really are wonderful and Michelin standard. The team are all lovely and so helpful - a special mention to Rueben, Stefano and Paolo but also to all the others who are too many to mention but make the Hermitage a very special place. We look forward to our next trip!

Incredibly special hotel, with a family vibe, a Michelin quality restaurant, and stunning back drop. Truly a special experience, with a staff that makes you feel like you’re at home, without being overwhelming. Incredibly fine balance, which they have nailed. It was our first time and we didn’t know what to expect, so only did half board, but happily could have eaten all of our dinners there. Breakfast was great, and the staff were super friendly and great with the kids. Afternoons after skiing, we enjoyed the ‘cake happy hour’ which was a really interesting idea that I had never seen. Delicious homemade cakes, strudels, and pastries. The kids loved it. The spa was a perfect way to recharge after skiing with the pool, steam room, and multiple saunas all overlooking the Dolomites. Finally, our free shuttle into town and back each day. We were concerned about it being a hassle, but turned out to be a highlight of the day. We never waited more than a few minutes, and Enzo the driver was a gem. We looked forward to seeing him, and our girls were riding up front with him by the end. Just a truly magical place, with no detail spared, a foodie’s heaven, and a backdrop that looks fake. Can’t say enough about it.

Bio-hotel Hermitage really is a gem. The hotel is nested at the bottom of a heavenly valley away from the hustle and bustle of Campiglio and far from the noisy road. Rooms feature a breath-taking view of the Brenta Dolomites, a UNESCO heritage site. In the morning, the sun creeps in from the granite boulders in the valley, creating spectacular games of lights and at dusk, the crimson sky will leave you in awe. The room are spacious, with ample windows drenching the space with light. The rooms are of high quality and you can tell that special attention has been dedicated to the use of eco-friendly materials, making this a certified bio-hotel with zero-net carbon footprint. Service is the added value of Hermitage. Being a family-owned and run establishment, you have personable service and attention to details. The Maffei family always makes you feel like you are in your home, whilst respecting your privacy and never being intrusive. That is the best balance you can ask for. Being an LGBT couple, we really appreciated the friendliness of the staff. It was my husband's birthday during our stay, and the hotel baked a special cake for him and organised a little celebration. We really felt the staff went the extra mile for us. I therefore strongly suggest Hermitage as an LGBT-friendly hotel. The height of our stay was probably the food. Hermitage houses one of the only three Michelin-starred chefs in Campiglio, out of a total of seven in all the Trentino region.

This is one of those fantastic hotels you'll remember staying in for a very long time for all the good reasons. You can sometimes get a good idea of a hotel if you engage with them before arriving. We had some issues with our reservation mainly our own issues and communication with the hotel through mainly Barbara was Professional, Polite and Prompt so gave us a good impression before arrival. These three 'P' attributes were borne out on arrival but in addition there was a Personal touch which can make stays special. Again Barbara was the main contact and she always had time to help no matter what the question. Also the Maitre D in the restaurant gave us all personal attention including our 17 year old daughter which was to his credit, also the man at the bar, sorry didn't get his name. The food in the restaurant (we ate twice during our 4 night stay) was exceptional. We didn't eat in the Michelin star restaurant on site but struggle to see how that restaurant could have been any better than what we had. Amazing food in terms of quality, taste and presentation. Service also excellent. We booked a mini suite for the 3 of us and it was a perfect layout - effectively turned into 2 separate rooms each with bathroom facilities and balcony when the sliding door was closed. Any points of note? - pretty minor - no air conditioning not an issue for us and may be typical for the region. The single sofa bed wasn't the most comfortable. And not a great choice of cereals for breakfast (which otherwise was again excellent. The hotel is very well located just a 5 minute drive from Madonna Di C. And finally on location despite all the above compliments, the best part of the hotel for me at least is not within the hotel itself but the amazing natural and uninterrupted view you have of the majestic mountain range right outside. Forever changing and hugely impressive. Book a room with a view if you have chance it's worth it. I don't know that there are any other hotel, certainly in Madonna itself that can match the view from the Bio. Thank you all for a memorable stay

We had been for almost a week. Barbara spoke fluent English and help us in everything, from ski rental and ski pass to ski lessons. Shuttles were very good and easy, the drive Enzo was nice and kind and picked up from where we needed at no time. Food was great - breakfast was always nice and tasty. With hot drinks and fresh food and juice. Dinner was amazing, with large variety of dishes, great wine and very kind waitress. Rooms were comfort and clean, hot water in showers and great view from the windows. Spa and pool are also good and clean. Definitely will come back to this experience

Soggiorno da favola, elegantemente curato da uno staff all’altezza della struttura e della location suggestiva. Ogni servizio è stato erogato con la massima cura e attenzione al cliente e, da non trascurare, il cibo di qualità elevatissima. Se tornerò a Madonna di Campiglio non avrò dubbi sulla scelta del posto. Grazie per l’esperienza e spero di rivedervi presto!!

Sono stata ospite di questo meraviglioso hotel con la mia famiglia e devo dire che ci siamo sentiti tutti coccolati dal primo istante. Tutto lo staff è attento e disponibile, la professionalità e il customer service sono eccellenti. Barbara cordialissima, ci ha accolti e consigliati per ogni evenienza Paolo il mâitre preparatissimo, gentilissimo ed esaustivo, ci ha reso partecipi della ottima qualità della materia prima di ogni singolo piatto meticolosamente preparato dalla stessa brigata di cucina del ristorante stellato Stube che è all’interno dell’hotel. Inoltre, avendo un figlio celiaco e una intollerante al lattosio qui non si sono mai sentiti diversi perché hanno sempre potuto mangiare quasi tutti i piatti nelle loro versioni e comunque ti venivano sempre incontro per qualsiasi esigenza Le cameriere cordiali e sempre così attente che a volte erano quasi invisibili!! Abbiamo mangiato così bene che sarà difficile trovare lo stesso livello altrove Enzo il nostro instancabile autista, sempre disponibile e gentile ci ha accompagnati e ripresi ogni volta che ne avevamo bisogno. E la pulizia, la prima cosa che guardo e mi aspetto in un albergo, era eccellente Un’altra cosa che li distingue è anche la temperatura degli ambienti, non è mai troppo caldo o freddo ma giusta, di notte si dorme che è una meraviglia! Anche la Spa è completa e molto bella Per chi come me non può sciare qui trova di sicuro il modo per passare il tempo in puro relax! Che dire, è stata una vacanza davvero top! Ringrazio di cuore tutto lo staff e la famiglia Maffei per l’eccellente servizio ricevuto

Saunabereich hat schon einige Jahre erlebt, entspricht absolut nicht mehr dem heutigem Standard. Von einem 4 Sterne Hotel etwarteten wir deutlich mehr.
