Holiday Isles Resort

The room was newly renovated which was nice. Very small though. Only one table lamp,that was super dim, on one side of the bed. Floor lamp didn’t work at all. One of the 3 lightbulbs in the bath room didn’t work. No fan or vent in bathroom. No hooks or towel racks for towels. No counter or table top to put anything on. Pull out sofa bed was horrible. Like sleeping o. Springs. Mattress pad and mattress had, what looked like urine stain, on them.

Always my go to hotel when in the area. Rooms are always clean and nice size and the hotel is kept nice.

First of all, the hotel name "resort" deceived. It's a motel Secondly, base rate is for 1 guest (which is tiny remark). So they charge $10/additional guest Third, they only provide shampoo pouch (which can't open without a scissor) Four, mattress is so soft, back hurt

It was fairly priced, especially during the Spring Break rush. Walkable to the beach. As good as any of the hotels for rooms without a beachfront view.

This was a last minute find due to another hotel mix up. They were very accommodating and it definitely served it's purpose.

I was surprised because I thought I had booked a nonsmoking resort located on the ocean and beach side of the street. Instead it's on the opposite side of the street and very run down and in need of a thorough cleaning both inside and outside. The floor in the room is modern day laminate, but the kitchen cabinets and couch were from the 1960's. The furniture is old, dark, and not clean. Housekeeping needs to scrub the floors and wash down the walls and open the doors and windows after smokers leave. I'm a nonsmoker and It smelled like wet pets and cigarette smoke in my room. In addition, many smokers lighting up and puffing away outside the rooms. I never would have booked here had I known it was smoker friendly. Smokers can't smell themselves, but I can smell them inside and outside in the air, couch, walls, ceiling, drapes, etc. Worst room I've ever stayed in because of the dirt, grime, and lingering smoke, and pet smells. If you're a smoker and have a smelly pet this would be your place to stay. I'm not into that vacation lifestyle.

There was supposed to be no smoking in the rooms, but right outside stunk like cigarettes and ****. The smell would drift into our room. We complained once, but no use. Also, people yelling outside and then the garbage truck came before 0700. The positive was we had a spacious room and the staff were friendly.

The bed was on a metal frame so everytime you sat on the bed it sounded like a metal drum. The mattress was uncomfortable. The second day the ac quit working. We had a tv but most channels were not very popular. We left without staying the 2nd night. They had a nice pool and good parking. It was in a great location for what we needed it for. It is very convenient for walking to great restaurants and pretty quiet.

Staff was extremely friendly and accomidating. Was upgraded to a bungalow suite and it was amazing. Location is great and the hote itself is very comforting to stay in. Will definitely stay here again the next time I’m in town!
