The hotel is very cosy and staff is very freindly they look after you the rooms are clean and large the restaurant is nice and the food is very good the gardens are lovelly the Swimming pool and the gym are nice I had an amazing holiday I hope to came back soon

Fabulous stay for our second trip to Madeira. Went with friends for the annual flower festival. Room was spacious and clean with a well-equipped kitchenette and a balcony overlooking the pool area. We decided to go room only and the little supermarket around the corner had everything we needed for breakfast. We dined at the hotels a la carte restaurants on two occasions and the food and service were both very good. There are plenty of restaurants all within walking distance to suit all budgets. We made the most of the two outdoor pools, a lovely quiet garden area in which to relax, a poolside snack & cocktail bar, games room and a well-equipped gym. The indoor pool was a little small and dark. Reception staff and guest services were very helpful and helped us with booking taxis and a late check out.

A one night all inclusive stay . The room was attractive with a balcony overlooking the pool and garden. The drinks were free and the food was hot and varied and the staff were efficient and smiling. Minor comments - the toilet has no door and the sea front is accessible only via a lift .

Great hotel with an unusual layout, elevators etc never sure what floor you were on, kids loved it and called it a Harry Potter hotel. Staff was great and always friendly. Beautiful garden and close to everything needed. Strongly recommend the place! 👍

Great location , friendly staff and lots of ideas and excursions to book, making it such an easy holiday. Well maintained resort. With fabulous facilities , pools, gardens and restaurants.cant fault anything. Love to come back.

This is a middle of the road complex and fairly dated and in need of upgrading. It does have some appeal and a bit of character. It also has a range of facilities and lovely garden grounds. The location is good , close to town. The staff are friendly and helpful and maintain things well. The food is probably average overall , but being vegetarian it is very poor and you will exist on salads and vegetables with absolutely minimal hot dishes if any. The nightly entertainment is at times dire, but only just ok at others, with single person acts playing to backing tracks and it appears under instructions to not get the audience too excited. The audience in response does not attend, or play cards! Excellent entertainment in the Porto Mare if you seek it out, and elsewhere.

Nice hotel but… please reopen the cocktail bar! The one in the White House overlooking the road. I asked reception and they said it’s permanently closed… why?? It’s beautiful! I’d gladly buy a drink in there and sit on the balcony chairs for hours. Please reconsider it as it made me feel very sad I couldn’t go in there

Really good hotel very clean, tidy and wonderful friendly staff. The hotel is fantastic located for everything and the hop on hop off bus red route stop’s direct outside the main reception. It is the perfect place for some winter sun and relaxation.
