Kruisherenhotel Maastricht - Oostwegel Collection, Member of Design Hotels

幫朋友定的，馬城唯一一個無鑽的酒店。好像是個歷史建築改的酒店。喜歡這個調調和歷史感的推薦。 但是朋友説不如河邊的皇冠看着大氣，主要是房間因建築內部改造的，房間不如國際酒店看起來好。

If this was the first Marriott we’d ever stayed in, we’d probably never book another. It’s very well located right on the edge of the bustling shopping and dining areas, and it’s in a converted historical monastery. The ground floor is spectacular, imaginative and breathtaking, but seemingly they ran out of money there. The hallways look worse than dormitory hallways, narrow with one side in white and the other in what looks like particle board. Our room, a superior one, is by far the worst designed hotel room we have ever had, and we’ve been to over 160 countries, so thousands of hotels. The toilet is the first little room by the door, but there is a heavy glass door into the bedroom. There is a minuscule walk in closet, but you can’t open the doors to it without closing the heavy glass door, and vice versa. Easily the stupidest design ever. The room itself is very stark so we wondered if the idea was to make you feel like you’re sleeping in an old austere monastery. The A/C did not work well but was very loud. The bedside tables are so low they may as well just put a mat on the ground. In the shower they have installed the wall shower head so low that only a three year old can fit under it and the soap/shampoo dispensers are installed right under the rain shower so you have to switch off the shower to use them. There were several other stupid design features but you get the idea. On top of this they have the audacity to charge € 45 for valet parking as there is no self parking. We really loved Maastricht but would not stay here again.

Well designed and presented hotel quirky and interesting rooms. Well located to visit the city and to explore Maastricht.

This place is absolutely amazing!! We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It is such a beautiful place!! The beds were very comfortable and we got a great night's sleep. It's only a few blocks from everything. We will definitely stay there again!!

The rooms were super but my room had small glass shards on the floor. Day 1 I simply placed the glass piece in the bin but on day 2 more glass turned up so housekeeping was just moving the glass around. On checkout I produced the 3 glass shards and reception apologized and we checked out. However I had expected a follow up email explaining the issue or at least the cleaning process had been improved. But I only got a generic email thanking me for my visit. Spending €1.600 over 2 days and being a gold member I expected better after service care from Marriott. In future I will reconsider my choice of hotel as this was not a 5 star service.

Kruisherenhotel is beautifully designed in and old cloister / church right in the old center of Maastricht. It is a short 5 minute stroll to get to de Vrijthof and all shops and restaurants. Service in the hotel is impacible, great eye for detaill. Rooms are nice, A/C could be better but othr than that no complaints.

We stayed here for 4 days. The room was beautiful. The food was superb. The location is very convenience to walk around the downtown area.

The service in this hotel is amazingly good right from the time we arrived they organised the parking of my car & pointed us to where we needed to be because the booking was through Andre Rieu. Throughout our visit everyone was so helpful & polite & nothing was too much trouble & the rooms were large & comfortable.

What an amazing place! The warm welcome from the reception desk, so kind! The room and the breakfast: so great!
