Wonderful experience stayed in The Clermont London, Charing Cross. Good staffs, services, restaurants. As well as the great location, it's actually located in the best spot of London, close to the museums, subway, and train stations. Will definitely recommend people to stay here, and I'll also surely come back again.

Actually my first time in london, receptions are friendly, given us a comfortable and tiny room with magnificent views to Trafalgar Square. Free cola , chips and biscuits are great, hoping for living here again. 非常推荐大家住这个酒店，交通便捷，服务好。值得。

Fantastic location, where it is centralised to walk around the city. Very convenient to be just next to the entrance of an underground station. The room was cosy, the bed was comfortable. The only issue is the bathroom in our room. Water leaked out of the shower area, leaving the entire bathroom wet each time we shower.

Clermont Hotel is housed in a historical building right on top of Charing Cross train station. The hotel interior is quite stylishly designed. The staff were friendly and the room was very clean and comfortable. It is very convenient to get to different parts of London city from here as Charing Cross station has both the tube (local underground train) station as well as the city train which connect to other cities nearby. Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery are both within walking distance and the British Muesum is just a few station stops away. For those who prefer Chinese food, China Town is at Leicester Square station. Highly recommended for those who prefer a nice and conveniently located hotel.

Good location good quality perfact service I loved my London trip in this hotel

My daughter and I stayed there for five days before Christmas. The hotel location is very good. It’s just about 10 meters away from the tube exit to the hotel gate. We walked to the Southbank and National Gallery in about 15minutes. From the nearest pier, Embarkment Pier, we took the ferry down to the River Thame. It’s quite easy to get to almost every spot. On the first day, we stayed on the first floor in the Wing. It’s another building linked with the main through a bridge. Although the receptionist explained it was far from the underground, I could still hear the metro running down nearby every five minutes very clearly. The room was also not very clean. There was dust on the kettle. I talked to the front desk and they agreed to help us change to another room on the sixth floor from the second day. (Are the receptionists a bit sly or they just not familiar with the condition of their rooms? I was once a customer relationship officer in a hotel and I am quite doubt about it. But anyway, I can understand.) It was quiet on the sixth floor but as you can see in pictures, the back board of our bed was worn and there were some white raw patches. The room is bigger than the one we had in the 1st floor. I found the the whole Wing from the first to the sixth floor looks old. When I booked the hotel, I remember I saw some information about their renovations. Maybe it’s just within the main building. The main building and the guests room hallways are much better than in the Wing. There were shiny Christmas decors everywhere. So I think maybe the price of the room sin the main are higher than those in the Wing? The staff at the cafe were very friendly and nice. The breakfast there was very limited. Especially the quality of the sausages. There were too much flour in them. I loved the beans and smoked salmon. Coffee and breakfast tea were good, but the milk was too watery.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Clermont. The location is absolutely fantastic and the hotel is only minutes away from Leicester Square, Covent Gardens or Embankment so plenty of places nearby and the underground is right next to the hotel. Staff on the front desk were extremely helpful and we received a complimentary upgrade. The room was amazing, the bed was incredibly comfortable and we had a really good nights sleep. Breakfast was tasty and service excellent We will definitely be returning to The Clermont, and this will be our hotel of choice for any future London trips.

Beautiful hotel, great location and staff were fantastic. The main hotel areas look very grand and breakfast was great, but the room we had was very basic and very out of keeping with the rest of the hotel. I’m sure there are nicer rooms with a higher price tag, but our room in isolation was not worth the price.

The location was incredible, right above the Charing Cross station which made it accessible for transfers to all parts of London and even beyond. Service staff was great, especially Nidhi (reception) who even helped me look up for halal meals nearby and also helped with a later checkout as our flight home was in the afternoon. The room size was bigger than anticipated and we had 5 great nights of sleep due to the comfy beds and pillows. Cleanliness was reasonable but we did get a bathrobe with coloured stains on it which was removed but not replaced. The daily complimentary snacks and drinks were such a welcome bonus!
