Lovely hotel. Small rooms but clean, cosy and everything is there to enjoy your stay. Close to Hyde park and not to long to walk to centre.

It was Great. So much history . Best breakfast. Made my birthday perfect with boloons choclate and very helpfull friendly serviceminded staff . Comfy beds. So beutiful enviromåent. WE WILL BE BACK.

It's a lovely hotel in a fantastic location, with easy access to public transport and situated in a safe area. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, and the beautifully decorated lobby adds to the charm. The service is excellent. The rooms are comfortable, though a bit on the smaller side, which can be challenging if you're handling a large suitcase. The walls are a bit thin, and the curtains could use some fixing. The room design I had was a little unusual, with stairs inside. That said, overall, it was a good experience!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Went out of their way to seat all of us together at breakfast as we were a group of 5 couples. Rooms as others said were very small. Would have been better if heating was put on in rooms before our arrival as rooms were freezing. Our shower cubicle was minute. Luckily we were not big people or would have struggled to shut the door . We loved the decor in the main hotel, lots of original features and history.

The hotel location is so good and the service is not bad. The staff asked us if we needed some hot water when we were checking in, he is so nice. But the toilet inside the room was so small, and it took me so long to take a shower and wash my hair. We may choose the hotel again only if we book a larger room.

Hotel Review I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. First, the bathroom was poorly maintained: the trash bin was broken, and the faucet was faulty, spraying water directly onto the power outlet—an obvious safety hazard. Despite noticing that my family was struggling with three large suitcases, and despite having other rooms available, the staff assigned us a room on the 7th floor. This room required climbing additional steps after exiting the elevator, and the room itself even had stairs inside. Such a layout is extremely inconvenient for anyone with heavy luggage or mobility challenges. The room was also uncomfortable. The heating system didn’t work, and the low-quality blankets made it very cold and difficult to sleep at night. Even though we booked a deluxe double room, the space was so small that I suspect we may have been given the wrong room type. Additionally, the hotel entrance has a large step that everyone must climb to access the lobby, making it unfriendly for guests with large suitcases or limited mobility. As we were only staying for two nights and already burdened with a lot of luggage, we didn’t request a room change, but the overall experience was far from satisfactory. Do not be fooled by the hotel’s glamorous lobby photos—they are misleading. I cannot recommend this hotel based on my experience.

The mince pie and mulled wine in reception was a highlight I just say. The building is beautiful and the location is brilliant! For full review TikTok @measisk for video :) great little hotel for great price in London.

Nice and reasonably priced hotel. The rooms are small, but ok.

A beautiful reception, staff are very friendly and accomodating with early luggage arrivals. Bar staff Yula is fantastic and put up with my crazy mind. Room was warm, small but comfortable enough for one person Bathroom is exceptional... I do not understand the bad reviews. These are just finicky people.

The hotel has an adorable Victorian vibe (I was hoping to be bitten by a vampire there).

Location is excellent with fantastic access to Underground less than 2 mins away. Staff super friendly and lobby/ reception very nice and as expected. The rooms and beds were tiny and uncomfortable and had very creaky floorboards. You could also hear the floor above every time there was a single movement. The bathroom shower rail had come off the wall exposing rusty screw fixings and there were broken floor tiles. We were disappointed with the room and had a terrible night's sleep. Certainly not the 4* it boasted to be and would not recommend.
