Thức ăn sáng có ít lựa chọn và không thay đổi. Có một vết bẩn trên khăn tắm. Có người dọn phòng muộn vào khoảng 4:30 chiều trong khi tôi để thông báo trên nút thắt cửa rằng phòng của tôi đã sẵn sàng vào buổi sáng.

Vị trí tốt. Cửa hàng tiện lợi cách đó 2 phút đi bộ. Ga tàu chỉ cách đó 5 phút đi bộ. Bữa sáng khá ổn. Nơi này đang được xây dựng ở một số khu vực.

Nhân viên lễ tân chào đón chúng tôi rất lịch sự, ăn mặc chỉn chu và cung cấp cho chúng tôi mọi thông tin cần thiết... phòng của chúng tôi sáng sủa, thoáng mát và rất sạch sẽ, có cả tiện nghi pha cà phê/trà và bạn có thể yêu cầu thêm... bàn là và ván ủi rất tiện dụng... không có tủ lạnh... phòng tắm rất rộng rãi, vấn đề duy nhất mà chúng tôi gặp phải (và đã báo cáo) là vòi hoa sen mà bạn không thể đứng dưới vòi hoa sen nên phải dùng tay để sử dụng, thực sự không phải là vấn đề lớn... bữa tối không có sẵn nhưng họ đã đưa cho chúng tôi thực đơn pizza sẽ được giao đến khách sạn và họ đã đặt hàng và họ không phiền nếu bạn ăn trong phòng. Bữa sáng rất ngon, chúng tôi được chỉ đến bàn của mình, sạch sẽ và gọn gàng, sau đó chúng tôi được phục vụ đầy đủ các món ăn kiểu Anh hoặc kiểu lục địa với nhiều lựa chọn... điều khó chịu nhất là khách để nắp đậy thức ăn nóng, họ không nhận ra rằng việc đậy nắp sẽ giữ nhiệt độ. Tôi ghét phải đọc rằng một vị khách có thức ăn hơi ấm và nếu họ làm vậy thì họ đổ lỗi cho những vị khách khác chứ không phải khách sạn... Xin gửi lời cảm ơn đặc biệt đến Kereline và William, cả hai đều rất hữu ích và là niềm tự hào của Holiday Inn Express. P.s Tôi nghĩ đây là một ý tưởng tuyệt vời khi có thể thuê ô trong 48 giờ với giá 2 bảng Anh!

This is a good hotel if you're looking for a more economical stay with a good breakfast. We had a great check in experience where we had arrived early and had a short wait for an early check in. The staff were very good here helping us find a table each morning for breakfast, made an ice pack for my wife's sore foot and they have a fridge to store food items behind the front desk. The location was pretty good and it was a short walk to popular attractions like Tate Modern, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, and Burough Market. There were a few restaurants nearby and we enjoyed grabbing quick bites at many of the nearby shops including Tesco, Sainsbury's and Amazon Fresh. There are lots of hotels in the area as well. The hotel is located about a 7 minute walk from Blackfriars station which offers Thameslink Service to Gatwick Airport and connects easily to the Elizabeth Line to go to Heathrow. It is within a 15 minute walk to Waterloo and Southwark stations and there are busses that go through the area too so it makes the city very accessible. It is worth checking out the train schedule because some trains go every 20-30 minutes instead of the frequency north of the Thames. The room was nicely appointed with a comfy bed, four pillows, a small work space, a small wardrobe, tea station, large television, and some shelving to store our things. We were transiting through London and had brought three large suitcases with us and there was plenty of space for those. The hotel is located in a quieter area and the air conditioning is very strong so we enjoyed each night's sleep. There were signs posted that they were undergoing some maintenance work during our stay in August 2025 so it was very noisy after 9:30 am in the hotel. This is a temporary issue. We felt that the housekeeping could improve because we were provided with dirty hand towels a couple of times and they did not vacuum the floor at the entrance of the room. The wifi was good and if you've set up an IHG account before you can quickly and easily log in but we found that we had to reconnect each night. The bathroom was pretty good with a nice new and clean shower. The shower was very good each night with an adjustable head, eco setting, good temperature control and tight seals to keep the water in. They have unique shampoo and body wash that are kale and parsley scented. There isn't much room to hang wet towels in the bathroom but they do have hooks in the bedroom that we used. The breakfast was good and we were happy it was included in our stay. They had all the fixings for an English breakfast with particularly good sausages and rashes of bacon. They also had yoghurt, fruit, cheese and some cereal for a lighter breakfast. The coffee machine was good for made to order options and there was a good selection of tea. You can make yourself a go bag as well and they will let you take food too. If you have dietary restrictions you can let the front desk know when you check in and they will accommodate. We had a good stay here and it fit our itinerary. Picking a hotel in London can be tricky but the price, location, and room were right for us.

Close to train station and bus stop easy access to popular sights. Room and breakfast is basic but has all the essentials, staff are friendly and accommodating

Lived 4 nights, breakfast the same for 4 days. Breakfast is not good with not much variety. The hotel is under renovation and the window is blocked with iron branches. There is no fridge in the room. Air conditioner is good. Room size is small that 2 big luggages cannot be opened. Hairdryer cannot be used in shower room because there is no suitable socket for it. You can walk to Southwick underground for 7 minutes. But the underground was closed during my visit. You can walk to Waterloo underground for 10 minutes.You can walk to Tower bridge for 30 minutes.

Excellent location, stunning views, and outstanding service—especially from Natalia. We’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to our friends!

Good value for money.

Brilliant stay at this hotel. Lots of loud building work outside which started at 8am, didn't bother us as we were awake by then but could have had a big impact to those who don't get up early - feel the hotel should make their guests away of this as looks quite long term work. Otherwise a truly brilliant stay and would 100% return.

Fab hotel for South Bank. Staff cannot do enough to help. Cannot recommend enough. Great value for money.

Lovely comfortable hotel. Good choice provided for breakfast. All staff were very pleasant and worked hard to make our stay enjoyable. Would stay here again.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Holiday Inn Express Southwark. Great location, extremely friendly staff, clean room, perfect housekeeping. If I'll ever return to London, I'll book with them again 100%. Thanks for having us.

Great location. Helpful staff. Only comment is that there is no hair conditioner supplied in the room.

The hotel location is convenient and clean room, service is nice and good ; especially when I go check out, the concierge staff knew that we did not have breakfast, then prepared two special breakfast for us at no cost (even though there are no more eggs or coffee, he sincerely bring out toast, bacon, ham, cake and fruit sets) The car park is okay but I don't know why they charged me $35 pounds while the price list mentioned $25 pounds per night
