Hotel Metro

We stayed at this lovely hotel when visiting London for a show at Budweiser Gardens. It was great as it was just a short walk over to the arena. The hotel staff were very friendly, and the room was clean. The area under the bed was dusty but everything else was spotless. I’m not sure if we were the only people on our floor or if it’s sound proof, but we didn’t hear a single sound in our room from any direction. I prefer to be able to park right at a hotel, but I know with downtown hotels this is often not possible. The Covent Market parking lot is underground and right across the street and the hotel gave us a voucher to cover the cost, so it worked out well. We will definitely stay there again if we see another show at the Gardens.

The room was lovely. Restaurant was unfortunately closed and no extras offered for VIP. Parking for oversized vehicles several blocks away. Friendly efficient check in.

Stayed here for a night and I'm glad I did! It was a quick walk to the London Music Hall where I was going for the evening. Absolutely stunning room, tastefully decorated. I would have loved a brighter light over looking the bathroom mirror for doing hair and make up but I made due. Staff was very friendly and warm. I will be staying here again next time I visit London

Loved our stay here. It was quaint, convenient and clean. Building is an older building with lots of character. Room has signs of wear and tear but that's to be expected. It was made up for with little details and being absolutely spot on clean. Couch was small and a bit uncomfortable, but not a big deal. Love that the tv had Netflix! Bed was super comfortable. Really appreciated the water in the fridge and the coffee. Water pressure good, shower hot, waterfall showerhead. (We were in Queen Bed Suite, Garden view) Could hear people when they moved in the hallways, but that's like any hotel. Was quiet the rest of the time. Hotel staff was lovely and friendly and very helpful. Parking is not on site, but hotel gives you a discount rate for the parking lot across the street (Convent Market parking.) - Took a few minutes to find the parking entrance, just as it is on a one way street so we had to loop around to find it. Hotel door was about 30 physical steps to the front of Budweiser Gardens where we had a show to attend. Worth it for the location. MANY restaurants near by *But we didn't hear street sounds at all inside the hotel. Over all, very, very happy with this hotel and will definitely be back.

Room was ready on time and check in was fast and convenient. Excellent room and a fantastic tub!

The room was comfortable, quiet & clean. We had trouble with the controlled entry (not tech savvy). There was no one at the front desk when we checked out so we didn’t get a receipt. We would stay here again.

Stayed for a concert. The room said it had a pull out couch but it did not have one.

I was underwhelmed, after being quite impressed by the images when I booked. The room was a little tired (buckled carpet and a dining table that looked like a craft project). The beds were clean and comfortable, but that’s about it. The room looked into an internal courtyard (which was an indoor room) so you didn’t get much in the way of natural light, although the courtyard room had a skylight. It was a bit sad to look out. Parking was a hassle. You have to pay to park across the street (you pay $20 which they told me was a $10 savings) but you have to drive around 5 city blocks to get to it because of the one way streets. There were restaurants nearby, but also abandoned buildings and homeless. All a little sad, really.
