My Stay at Ropewalks Hotel: Totally Worth It! Just got back from a quick overnight at Ropewalks Hotel in Liverpool and had to share my thoughts! For just £46 — and let's be real, saved a solid chunk thanks to those Trip.com coins — this little spot delivered way more than I expected for a city break. The location? **Perfect.** Right in the heart of the Ropewalks district, which means you're steps away from some of the coziest bars, indie eateries, and amazing street art. I came for a quick solo adventure, and being so close to everything made it super easy to explore without wasting time on transport. I stayed **Monday, August 11 to Tuesday, August 12, 2025** — just one night — and check-in after 3 PM was smooth. No waiting, no hassle. Check-out before 11 AM was equally chill. The room itself was modern, comfy, and spotlessly clean — exactly what I needed. Not five-star fancy, but everything worked, it felt cared for, and I actually got a great night's sleep. One thing I really appreciated? **The transparency.** The bulk was paid upfront, and I only had to hand over £2.40 on-site — no surprise fees. Plus, knowing Trip.com backs it with a price match and stay guarantee gave me peace of mind. Loved that I could message or call the hotel directly through the app, and the "Manage Booking" feature made the whole process feel seamless. Felt like I was in control the whole time. Is this a resort with a spa and champagne service? Nope. But it's not pretending to be. While the hotel was clean and well-maintained, it was quite noisy at night. Additionally, there were some unexpected extra charges due to a new policy that had not yet been updated online. Overall, the stay was satisfactory.

I really liked this place. Good location and kind staff members. My room was super quiet and comfortable. I was able to focus on my work during my stay. I would highly recommend this place to anyone travelling to Liverpoool. Its location was in the center of the city with many stores around! I would come again next time travelling to Liverpool. If you plan to stay at summer please do not choose this place as there is no air-conditioning and you will get sweat at the back with the fan while sleeping. The location is good and that is the positive but not a place to stay during summer as you can't even open the window properly with safety lock.

All was good, just very noise, always party during night time. Doors always open and close with big noise, could be better isolated.

The best stay in Liverpool. It is such a pleasant and lovely place for everyone.

Nice hotel with big rooms. I was on the front and the music \ people enjoying a night out in the nearby bars was loud at night until 4\5am... Luckily I can sleep through it but it wouldn't have been good for a light sleeper.

The location is excellent and the room is nice. However, as the room is in the basement. The ventilation is not great and there’s noise when using water.

I arrived at 13:30 to the hotel and as I am disabled person I thought the reception was gonna check me earlier but he insisted on going and coming back at 15 o'clock so I came at 16 o'clock and he tells me is no disabled room for me and I must to request one when I made a booking and he gave me a room in first floor 😭

Visit to watch the famous Accrington Stanley play Liverpool in the fa cup , hotel really easy to find, nice room bar and restaurant masons , found parking nearby 5 min walk (under £16 for 24 hours) B parking. Only downside was this hotel is in the thick of it for late night clubs and outside so called garden bars , so it was pretty noisy in the room , it didn’t really bother us cause we both can sleep through fireworks. But if you’re a light sleeper and need to be in bed early take some ear defenders .

Very comfortable hotel. Big room, clean, friendly front desk staff, near to a lot of shops, restaurants, and bars. Right by the main party area though so a bit noisy late at night. Otherwise a great place to stay!

Lovely hotel, great location but be warned, our room was at the front of the hotel and there were clubs close by that stay open until 6am so didn’t sleep both nights !! The noise was horrendous. Would have asked to move but was at a wedding the Saturday and wouldn’t have had time to move all our things. Would stay again but deffo will ask for a room at the back of the hotel next time.
