No.1 Pery Square Hotel & Spa

Highly recommend. Parking may be an issue though

Stayed here with my wife on the june bank holiday Monday and have to say overall it was a disappointing stay. The hotel looks lovely inside and the room was comfortable particularly the bed which was extremely comfortable. Check on staff were also friendly and helpful. However despite this being the bank holiday we were told that the spa was closed. This wasn’t too inconvenient but we were then informed that there would be no food available at all in the hotel ( 4pm) We were looking forward to getting some food and drinks in the bar and relaxing for the evening but instead we had to go out to find somewhere to eat, luckily there is plenty of fine restaurants in the locality. We had assumed that after paying €265 euro for a one night stay the hotel would have some dining options available ! We did however have breakfast in the hotel the following morning and I can honestly say it was the worst hotel breakfast I ever had. I ordered poached eggs ( soft) on soda bread . The one egg I got was nowhere near soft and the soda bread had been cremated to within an inch of its life and was actually inedible. Also no hand soap in our bathroom ( we had to ask at the front desk) and no tea/ coffee facilities in the room. Although the hotel is well decorated and looks lovely and the staff are very good it offers very poor value for money. Have stayed in limerick many times and paid less for better hotel experiences as such I couldn’t recommend this hotel and wouldn’t stay here again

This was our second time staying here and it was perfect from start to finish! The building itself has so much character to it. The cocktails in the bar were amazing! The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. The decor of the room we stayed in was so unique, loved the copper bath! The Eggs Benedict was perfect and the freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious! We will definitely be returning here again!

An exceptionally beautiful hotel in the heart of Limerick. Staff are relaxed but meticulously professional. Beds are so comfortable and lovely Voya products in bathroom elevate this experience.Waitress service at breakfast further enhances your stay. Freshly squeezed orange juice, homemade granola, lovely breads including a moist stout bread and the most perfect eggs Benedict completed a lovely one night stay.

We stayed for two nights, week ago, in this really lovely Town House Hotel which is in a fantastic location in a historic Georgian Square right beside the People's Park and in the heart of the City. There is a warm and intimate feel to the hotel with characterful rooms and the staff were super friendly and the service was excellent as nothing was too much trouble. The food and wine was also excellent. I would thoroughly recommend No 1 Pery Square.

my boyfriend and I stayed at no 1 last week celebrating my 21st birthday and had the most magical time. The staff went above and beyond for me all whilst remaining very professional, they made sure we had everything we needed and more. Such friendly and kind people. It’s quite a cool and trendy hotel in the heart of limerick city, with lots of instagram worthy picture locations which i enjoyed. We stayed in a period room, it was pristine among arrival and the most comfortable bed i’ve ever slept in. The food was fab, the pancakes i had for breakfast were some of the nicest i’ve ever had and the fresh orange juice topped it off. I had a back massage and facial with grace in the spa, who did an amazing job i felt so relaxed and refreshed after wards. The spa has a real zen feel to it with the darker lighting and candle lit hallways, really enjoyed being able to grab a herbal tea on the way to the sauna! i’d really recommend no 1 pery square to anyone who’s looking for a city getaway. It really has all you need in the one place great staff, great food, great spa, etc but also lovely restaurants, bars, parks and transportation surrounding it!

We've been here a couple times now for lunches and also got spa treatments, we both loved it. Food is fab, service is grand and the decor is super, nothing bad to say at all. Spa is awesome, a hidden gem in Limerick City. We had a couple's treatment, it was lovely. Staff and decor superb. Can't say enough good. What a great experience, you'd never know you were in the middle of the city.

I'm writing this on the second evening of our two night stay at No. 1 Pery Square. We were in Limerick for a wedding and decided to spend a couple of evenings exploring the city beforehand, and we found No. 1 on the Blue Book site. We were immediately impressed when we arrived, the hotel has just reopened after refurbishments and it shows. Every space is a lovely combination of Period elegance with modern touches. We stayed in the Park room, one of the Period rooms, and we were sincerely blown away when we walked in. From the beautiful decorations to the massive copper tub in the bathroom, the whole room was incredible. We had booked one of the standard Club rooms and the hotel had discretely upgraded us to the fancier room without charge or fuss, we didn't even realise until the second night! The bar and the long room are similarly beautiful spaces, and the cocktails were among the best we've had. We ate in the hotel both nights, which would be rare for us with so many options on the doorstep, and both evenings we loved the food (special mention to some of the smaller plates, the tepenade and the tater tots were our favourites). The breakfast was similarly excellent. I am a vegan and my wife is vegetarian, and we were both very well catered to. Finally I have to mention the staff. Seamus the manager is an absolute gentleman, and both he and his colleague (I didn't catch her name but it might have been Mary) took fantastic care of us the whole time we were there. The service here was 5 star quality and we can't speak more highly of them. We were expecting a nice stay in a hotel that looked lovely on the website, but this exceeded that - we genuinely feel this was one of the nicest hotel experiences we've ever had. We can't wait to return!

Very enjoyable stay. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room was very comfortable. Had breakfast and a lunch, both excellent. Nearby parking was convenient. Prime location in Limerick. Will stay there the next time we go to Limerick. Recommend highly.
