I arrived at this hotel durong the heat wave in June '22 and selected it because TA showed it as the top hotel in lille, with AC. During check-in, no mention was made about the AC not working. Upon entering the room, I saw a fan on full speed in a hot and muggy room. The AC control is there, but it has no power (like a prop). I asked reception to switch it on, but they said the AC had broken that morning and will be replaced on the day that I'm leaving (what a coincidence). I attempted to stay in the room but it was awful. The outisde temperature was 35C and the energy from the fans just made the room warmer. There was no restbite. I began looking at reviews and saw that people had made comments over the past year about no/broken AC. I approached the reception and challenged them about the AC being broken that morning even though reports say this has been an ongoing issue and he smiled and admitted that it hadn't been working for a while. This is false advertising! In addition to this, i found the cleaners pass within my bed sheets. (Picture attached). This opens every room in the hotel and i tried it on my door and on a room which i knew was vacant! Imagine had this gone into the wrong hands. I handed into reception who were apologetic and said the employee had left a few days before. I guess they dont deactivate employee passes 🤷‍♀️ I could only stay here for one night, i booked my remainding stay in the BW voyageur instead (a much better hotel, for a cheaper price) and I'm fighting to get my money for false advertising, which I am winning! In summary, do not stay here. I doubt they ever had AC and will lie about it. They cannot be trusted.

This is a funky, little hotel on the edge of old Lille. The front desk staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms were very interesting but comfortable. Our room was long and narrow with a bed and a chesterfield. The bathroom was large and bright with a great towel rack. You could skip housekeeping for a day and receive a free drink in the bar. That might have been the better way to go as housekeeping was slow and a bit spotty (e.g. left dirty glasses). We had to continually chase them down for more towels. The breakfast was simple but good with a nice selection of gluten free items. An interesting place to stay.

Stayed here with family for two nights. Very central location, only a few minutes walk from the old town and some of the key places to see (Musee de Baux Arts, Cathedral). Really nice hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic location! This was an easy walk (with luggage!) from the train station and just steps away from the square, shops, and restaurants. The front desk staff was pleasant and very helpful. The room was tight for a family of four, but that's not unusual in Europe and it did not bother us at all. The bathroom was very spacious and we were able to move around just fine during our 2-night stay. The room was clean and the complimentary mini bar had water, a Coca-Cola, and Perrier available for us. We didn't buy the breakfast in the lobby but it offered a variety of different foods - they kindly made me an iced latte upon request for just a few Euros. We would visit again - recommended!

We have just returned from a few days in Lille. The friends we travelled with were staying at the BW Boa, we were in a hotel out of the City. My Husband & I were made to feel so welcome by the staff. They looked after our luggage and allowed us to use the Reception area and all the comforts this lovely hotel had to offer. I would advise anyone visiting the beautiful City of Lille to stay here. Wonderful staff, you won't be disappointed. Many thanks

Comfortable hotel and nice design, right in the old town, clos to everything, stations, shops, restaurants

A very central nice small boutique hotel.Very friendly service. Rooms nicely decorated. Elevator was making noise and was a bit scary due to that. Very good breakfast; focus on quality instead of quantity was much appreciated. Will return!
