Fairfield Inn & Suites Kansas City Lee's Summit

I don't have time to bother with reviews normally. But in this case, I am making time. I arrived late at about 10:30pm this week to this hotel. I checked in immediately and the process was flawless. I was going straight to bed when I saw multiple ants crawling on the bed next to mine. I videod the ants and packed back up and went to the front desk to ask for another room on another floor. It was too late to go searching for alternatives and I realize that if you have ants on the 3rd floor in room 300, then every room is going to have ants. So when they put me in room 117, I literally went to bed and shut off the lights immediately. Sure enough, the next morning in the bathroom, there were ants crawling on the toilet. I video'd that as well. When I approached the desk for checkout, I wanted a full credit for my stay. She offered me POINTS. I responded that I would prefer a full credit for my troubles. minutes ago, I discovered that they have billed me in full. Therefore, I am taking the time to let all viewers know that this hotel is NOT clean and is NOT being maintained properly and is infested with ants. From room 300 on the 3rd floor down to the first floor in room 117, I saw ants in both rooms. As I told them when I checked out, the reception was flawless and professional. But it appears to me that ownership is resisting investing in the comfort of future guests because there is NO WAY I am the only person to see ants in this building.

The property is not what you expect from a Fairfield Inn. The lobby, breakfast, check-in and staff are up to Fairfield standards BUT once you get to room the standard definitely goes downhill. The room was clean but dated. The mattress was worn out, like sleeping on a sponge. The pillows were like sacks of oatmeal. Sheets had small tears in them. Loose floor tiles in bathroom and stains in bottom of bathtub. Definitely not Fairfield Inn quality. All in all, this property was way overpriced for the condition of the room. Won’t stay here again.

first start that people work their wear nice but the commaction from one worker to other i ask if i can stay untill 1 pm one lady said yes the other said no and the one in blue said i came as work for Marriott so i have no rights i am also silver member and a lot marriott works our silver gols our higher up and she said they wear sold out i just left and found out they our not sold out i like to said to owners our genrel mangers please dont treat your gust as dumb thank you

We had 14 rooms here for a baseball tournament. Kelley was amazing and went way above and beyond helping coordinate all of our rooms and making sure everyone was happy. The little grandma that took care of the breakfast buffet was the sweetest lady ever. Our rooms were clean and the beds were super comfortable. Breakfast was better than a usual hotel buffet. The location is great and easy to find. Would definitely stay here again.
