What a perfect place full of love. They love what they do and are so generous with everything- their knowledge, their time, their quality It’s just inexplicably special and excellent in every possible way. A family affair, with members of staff who are absolutely thought of as family. It is the epitome of all things Southern Italy. Don’t miss a stay here. Not only will your holiday be better, these gorgeous people will touch your lives. The rooms are beautiful, stylishly updated. The pool is very charming and a sun trap. They will love your business and won’t take it for granted.

What a wonderful oasis just on the outskirts of the center of a Lecce. It was beautiful, clean, calm with wonderful breakfasts. The owner Milena and her fantastic staff take great pride in this property. I highly recommend this small hotel, very walkable to all the sites, yet off the beaten track. Lecce is a great city, with lovely sites and people. It is worth a visit while in Puglia. Thank you for your hospitality.

Beautiful and clean accommodation which is ideally located to explore the ancient city of Lecce. It is close to lovely shops and restaurants. We were able to go for early morning and late night walks in the ancient city. This was an added bonus! The accommodation is set in a beautiful mature garden with a swimming pool available to those who want to enjoy it. The owners have considered every need of a traveller. The high standard and quality of the accommodation provided a lovely experience. Secure parking is available behind the location of the hotel. The family owners and staff are very attentive and kind. Dimora Storica Muratore is a very special ‘home’. A private historical villa, owned by the Muratore family, who rents out four individually and stunningly decorated ensuite rooms / suites all situated on the ground floor with vaulted ceilings, each with a private area from where you can enjoy a delicious breakfast. The villa stands within its own private beautiful walled garden. Its’s location is fantastic. The main gated entrance gives direct access to the heart of historic Lecce ‘within’ the city walls and from a very discreet ‘rear’ entrance you are immediately outside the city walls and immediately across the street from organised paid parking with whom the Villa has an arrangement for guests. Not only was the villa fantastic but the hospitality we were shown was lovely. We felt very privileged to have stayed there and hope to be back one day. Thank you.

Wow. What a stylish hotel. Beautiful gardens, it is an oasis amongst the buildings in the old part of Lecce. Milena is a delight to deal with, going the extra mile to help us with our check in and finding parking. Every where you turn, the style is there with their beautiful pool a wonderful surprise. This is a must if you are staying in Lecce and want to be close to all of the attractions and restaurants.

Our stay at the Dimora Storica Muratore was marvelous! The rooms are beautifully appointed with all the modern amenities yet they were able to preserve the historical gorgeous architectural features of the building. The gardens are lush and well maintained. The breakfasts were delicious and they were so accommodating to our vegetarian diets. The host Milena and Stefania made our visit truly memorable. Thank you for making our stay in beautiful Lecce so special.

We were so appreciative that the family were willing to share their extraordinary and historic family home with us. This home is in fact an exquisite mansion in which the family's private quarters are separate but adjoining the 4 guest rooms, each with lush and shaded gardens, high end modern touches, stylish furnishing/finishes and meticulous attention to detail. Being on the perimeter of the gorgeous old city of Lecce, the location couldn't have been more perfect. The lovely and very hospitable manageress and son of the proprietors went well out of their way to accommodate our needs and help us with practicalities. Our visit was brief but we very much look forward to a return visit!

Très belle demeure de charme, chambre très confortable et personnel particulièrement accueillant. Petit déjeuner copieux avec d’excellents produits locaux. Emplacement idéal pour découvrir la ville. L’établissement est à 15 minutes à pied de la gare.

Difficile trovare qualche difetto nella permanenza in questa bella struttura. Posto in posizione centralissima, in pochissimi minuti si raggiungono tutti i siti importanti da visitare. Camera ampia ed estremamente confortevole, bagno superaccessoriato, ampio e con bella finestra sul giardino. Colazione ottima con tipicità locali preparate al momento. Personale gentilissimo. Davvero una bellissima esperienza
