Bon séjour, personnel à l'écoute et très pro Un seul bémol dommage qu'il n'y a pas de portes de sorties et entrée intermédiaire pour accéder a la plage surtout quand on est la dernière tout au bout de l'hotel, alors que l'accès à la plage et juste dernière la porte de sortie de secour, car l'hôtel et très grand et il faut toujours repartir au bout pour au final revenir au même endroit mais en passant par l'extérieur (épuisant a la longue)

Très bon Hôtel au calme. Installations piscine eau de mer +hammam super. Très bon petit déjeuner.

Excellent view from our seaside room with balcony. The use of facilities such as pool and gym is fantastic. Outside gym there is a real suntrap to sit and gaze out to sea or read a book. An excellent place to wind down.Our room was warm, clean and had everything we needed for 2 nights. The staff on check in were very helpful. Merci

We had lunch with friends here while on a short break. The restaurant overlooks the beach and sea and is wonderful. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.excellent too with English translation The food was superb and excellent quality. Very reasonably priced too. I will be going back soon I hope

Great location on the beach, fab views over the sea and beach (especially the sunsets). Lots of activity to see: horse riders , sand yachts, paddle boarders. It was nice to use the seawater pool shared with the Novotel, also a decent fitness room and a run/walk along the beach to work off the calories!. We enjoyed the breakfast, ate in the bar one evening, nice soup and very nice fish. Like other reviewers, we found the 'just in case' credit card authorisation strange and unnecessary but it was cancelled on checkout. Yes, it's a short walk from the outer rooms to reception but it's really not a big deal.

Would not recommend, the walk to the rooms is so long it's ridiculous and once you get there they are very disappointing, balconies concrete and everything feels really "boxed in" - adequate shower - very poor air conditioning especially in the heat of August - had to change rooms as the first room did not work at all, second not much better. Was really looking forward to this overnight stay on our way back to the UK but regret booking this hotel, will not be returning!

I have stayed a few time at Ibis Le Touquet Thalassa and think this time was the best yet. The rooms have been spruced up, I love the water coolers and room fridges. Excellent breakfast with lovely outlook. Missed the top rating only due to strange menu offerings in the restaurants and the information about service times and the bars in general could be better.

Le Porj restaurant is in lovely setting by the beach. The service is good and the restaurant itself is pleasing. What is not pleasing was the very limited choice on the menu ( only one fish dish which if you consider you are 50 metres from the sea is actually bizarre). The mussels where the smallest we have ever seen anywhere in the world , they were cold and tasteless too. The white wines were all very warm. Not somewhere we would ever go back to to eat. Pity , as it’s a nice location but clearly they don’t care about the restaurant side of the business.

This really is an excellent hotel! Very clean and the sea views are second to none! We had a good choice of breakfast! Parking on site (pre booked) and paid! And the staff were welcoming and friendly! It’s a nice walk into town and along the promenade! ( if you want to be close to town stay in town!) cannot fault this hotel and will return

My wife and I disagree about this hotel but, as I am writing the review..... The paid car parking seemed to be open to non-residents in this very busy area so parking could be pot luck. The hotel is modern and large and the internal layout was, for us and others, confusing. We had pre paid 213.25 Euro for our Standard Sea View Room with Balcony and, at check in, were told just go down in the lift, walk as far as the restaurant and your room is there. So we started down and then walked the long curving corridor and through the restaurant, which seemed strange. Then we searched for our room but couldn't locate it. A much younger French couple were having the same difficulty so it wasn't just the 'silly old Brits'. We finally found a member of staff and were told that we had to go down in yet another lift - all this with no signage. Our room was pleasant and looked onto the beach and ocean but felt small. The free wifi worked well. The 'salle de bain' had a good walk-in shower but the shower room door opened outwards which clashed with the wardrobe doors. The salt water indoor swimming pool is large but, because it is shared with the ibis hotel next door, was quite crowded. Our room had a safe box and a small fridge. We had the same walk, lift, walk, lift trek back to reception to go out for a meal. We didn't eat in the hotel and declined the 17 Euro breakfast. It really did feel odd to have to pull our cases through the restaurant on our way to and from the lift. The parking charge is 8 Euro per night. The hotel is large, modern and clean but with a confusing layout and poor signage and, for 213 Euro per night plus breakfast and plus parking, no thanks.

This place is worth visiting just for the sake of the amazing views of the beach and sea from the rooms. I slept with the curtains open and it was lovely to see the sun rising over the beach from bed!

Hotel is on the beach! Recently refurbished, and of course under used since, it is the best appointed Ibis that I have stayed in. Rooms aren’t as pod like as sometimes can be the case in such hotels. Furniture & fittings modern and stylish. Beds are comfortable and shower is brilliant. I could not fault it! Our room was a lower ground floor twin, with balcony and virtually on the beach. To open the patio door to the view of the endless white sandy beach was absolutely lovely. Parking at 5€ / night was a bargain, as was the excellent buffet breakfast. The hotel has a pleasant bar & patio overlooking the beach. It is an easy 10 -15 minute walk to the Main Street & market square. Excellent stay and would thoroughly recommend it to everyone: families, couples and groups of friends - accessible too, though for those with mobility issues I would recommend requesting a room near the lift. It is a low rise hotel with long corridors.

We have stayed at this hotel before and the rooms are lovely with fabulous views - (The WiFi is a bit unreliable though) But the Accor payment requirements are the real problem.... We had paid Accor in full, in advance for our three night stay, just over £500 however on arrival we were asked to pay an additional £400 plus, as a guarantee for services that we 'might' use in the hotel I explained we had no plans to have breakfast here or use the restaurants but there was no room for manoeuvre So three night at £500 plus £400 pre-payment plus general spending money makes the budget required a three night stay well in excess of £1000 excluding the Le Shuttle Really annoying though was the fact that we didn't even know the pre-payment hadn't been refunded until a UK purchase was queried a week after our return Although the cash is not actually 'taken' from your bank account - you can't spend it as it is 'pre-authorized' leaving you with reduced funds until it is cancelled and potential embarrassment This transaction was 'cancelled' at hotel reception at check out, the day we left, a week ago, but the refund has still not appeared in my account They already have our credit card details so I cannot understand this arrangement - and it just makes you feel uncomfortable I now have the additional hassle of chasing either Accor or my bank to ensure the funds are returned We have stayed in hotels all over the world and have never come across this ridiculous arrangement We love Le Touquet but sadly wont be returning to this hotel simply because of this 'pre-payment arrangement' In short - beware the pre-payment requirements especially if you're on a tight budget

We arrived at Ibis far too early, feeling shattered and in desperate need of a sit down and cool air. The staff were welcoming, swiftly registered us and apologised that as we were so early, we would have to wait for our room to be prepared. Not a problem, they had set our expectations. They made it clear to us, we were very welcome to wait in the reception area or on the balcony, or by the bar. Music to our ears. We were weary travellers and by small acts of kindness, you made us feel so welcome. Our room was ready far earlier than expected. Thank you for going the extra mile.
