This is possibly the best hotel we have been as a family for long time. A caveat first: you visit Kalogria if you enjoy the sea and nature, not for nightlife or shopping. And if you are looking for peace, reasonable luxury and good food, this is your place. A boutique, family, but super professionally, run hotel. We spent 3 night in a room for 3, with two queen beds. Very modern, comfortable and clean. A nice terrace looking at the swimming pool. The swimming pool is very clean and never busy, with elegant sunbeds and umbrellas. The service at the bar is fast and attentive. As soon as you sit by the swimming pool, you are offered fresh water. But no push to order anything else. Breakfast is very good with a lot of homemade products and good coffee. They clearly prioritise quality over excessive variety. We truly enjoyed the home made bread and sweets. We had a la carte dinners there two times and were impressed by the quality of dishes they offer. Delicious and nicely presented. We had moussaka, sardines in the oven and grilled fish and they were all cooked to perfection. The hotel has a car park and it is walking distance from a nice sandy beach. We would give 6 stars if possible!

Unique experience, very clean, comfortable places, the pillows and mattress were excellent. The location is magical, felt like being in a national park. Fantastic breakfast and unique in taste coffee

We spent 10 nights as a family of 2 adults and two teenager girls and we had a lovely time. Room was big enough, clean and the bathroom was luxurious. Close to the beach, nice pool and very kind and attentive staff. We had half board and each dinner was well prepared and tasty. In half board, the menu is set but with a second choice if you don't fancy the first - an option that we barely used as the choices were very balanced. Breakfast was remarkable, with really spot on choices - some of them were hand made and different from what you will usually get in a standard breakfast. Beaches around are well organised and very reasonably priced - in most of them they have a minimum consumption, only in one beach bar they asked for 5 euros for the umbrella set Only minus are: the mosquitoes - you do need to come armed with relevant products to protect yourself. And also if you want to travel south toward Pirgos (Ancient Olympia and the coast), the road can be dangerous, tiring and full of cameras). Overall a very relaxing and comfortable stay.

We stayed here over Greek Easter 2022. It was absolutely perfect. The whole hotel and area ist perfectly maintained. The service is also great. The beach is close by, although in order to get to other places a car is mandatory. We can fully recommend the place.

What a great find! I’d find it hard to believe if this wasn’t the nicest place to stay near Kalogria Beech. My partner and I felt extremely welcome by the entire staff each of the 2 nights we stayed. They serve a delicious hot breakfast as part of the rate and the restaurant also serves lunch and a delicious dinner. Rooms have large balconies and are a good size for what you typically find in Greece. It is also very clean. The hotel was very quiet as travel to this region is way down. Other than us there were Australian firemen stationed there and only a couple other rooms filled so it seemed as if we had the place to ourselves. Only a short drive or walk to the beach. Across the street is a campground with a mini mart and perfect for snacks and drinks or other necessities. The owner is very friendly and hospitable. When in the area I highly recommend Verde al Mare.
