Villa Glen-Tara

This is a perfectly situated guest house in Taussat/Lanton, close to the larger Andernos-les-Bains, and perfect location to visit the entire Bassin d'Arcachon. It's quiet and removed from the hustle and tourists you find in Arcachon; very relaxing, yet close to everything. The hostess Michelle is amazing. She made reservations for us for dinner each night and for e-bikes in Andernos, gave us maps and instructions, and suggested the best restaurant for what we wanted, so good that we ate there twice. Our room was on the top floor, so do be aware that there are some very steep stairs, but the view from the windows made the stairs worth it! The room felt private, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom beautiful with a big shower. Breakfast was very good and served in a light-filled room. We visited Arcachon and the Dune du Pilat the day of our arrival and rode bikes to Cap Ferret on the second day. Fabulous location to see the whole Bassin d'Arcachon Just wish we could have stayed longer.

Our stay here was fabulous. The room and breakfast were great and Michelle was so friendly & welcoming. She booked restaurants for us in advance and gave us suggestions of where to visit and what to do each day. We were lucky with the weather but the area and bassin of Arcachon are amazing and it was great to be able to swim at high tide. We were able to borrow bikes which was a real bonus.

I visited glen Tara to attend my nephews wedding near by there are no words to describe how amazing this place is Michelle goes above and beyond to make everyone feel at home nothing is too much trouble The rooms and facilities are first class All our family and friends were made so welcome even if they weren’t staying there we all met up and Michelle was amazing I would definitely come back Thank you so much Michelle

Today is our last day at Glen Tara after a 4 day stay. We have been staying here as we were attending a wedding nearby and our selection of B and B had been due to proximity of the wedding venue. Oh how lucky were we to have happened upon this lovely B and B that quickly become the hub of the wedding guests, whether they were staying here or not! Michelle made everyone feel so welcome and literally left no stone unturned with her kind and thoughtful hospitality, going above and beyond for everyone. In addition to this, the bedroom facilities and breakfast were second to none and we have truly had a wonderful stay. The wedding itself was a wonderful occasion but Michelle has enchanted the entire experience with her hosting on the days before and after the wedding. We hope to return with our children sometime soon ❤️ Laura & Lee Crowe Xx

Cette magnifique maison d'hôte est très bien située, à mi-chemin environ d'Arcachon et du Cap Ferret, ce qui permet de visiter les deux sites en deux journées sans faire trop de kilomètres. Accueil très chaleureux, chambre vaste et décorée avec goût, excellents et copieux petits-déjeuners, que demander de plus ! Nous recommandons vivement.

Un endroit merveilleux à l'image de son hôtesse Michelle, chaleureuse et à l'écoute de ses clients ! Un pur moment de bonheur et de détente ! Les chambres sont confortables et décorés avec beaucoup de goût !Allez-y les yeux fermés, une belle rencontre !

Une maison d’hôtes incroyable comme nous n’en avons encore jamais rencontrée! Michelle la propriétaire est juste adorable, généreuse et passionnée. Tout est pensé dans les moindres détails et nos longues conversations étaient des plus agréables! La maison est magnifique et extrêmement propre, les chambres sont superbes et bien agencées, et il n’y manque rien. Les petits déjeuners sont fabuleux et toutes les petites attentions très agréables et les bons conseils de Michelle très justes . Nous sommes venus sur la période de Noël et la décoration était encore plus incroyable. Plein de petites idées cadeaux et de souvenirs à ramener… Bref, il y aurait encore tant à dire mais il faut garder quelques jolies surprises ! Mais avant tout c’est la gentillesse et la générosité de Michelle qui nous a le plus touchés. J’y suis encore et rêve déjà d’y revenir!!!

El hotelito es una magnífica propiedad, bonita, bien cuidada y acogedora. Los propietarios son una pareja encantadora que miman a sus huéspedes y Michelle ofrece un desayuno completo, variado y riquísimo. Está situado a un par de minutos andando de la playa.
