Serenity resort Amazing hotel - would highly recommend staying here. We stayed at serenity resort for 2 nights on arriving at Koh Chang from Bangkok. The location is so so idyllic and relaxing, absolutely beautiful. We also stayed on the west side of the island for a couple of nights and while it is quieter on the east side of the island (ie, there is no point in leaving the resort in the evening as there is nothing really to do on the east side after dark) this is exactly what we were after. The staff could not be more helpful and accommodating. Food and drinks at the restaurant were great and reasonably priced. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Lovely view. As other reviews have said, if you are staying here you will likely want your own transport so you can explore. We rented a moped from the resort at a very reasonable price. If you want to rent a car make sure you have an intl driving permit (takes a few mins to obtain but must do whilst in the UK). There’s barely any traffic on this side of the island so the drive down to long beach at the south of the island felt very safe on a moped despite the hills (and would be the same in a car). The resort staff recommended us to do this and then get kayaks over to Koh ngam, which we did and was a great experience! The other option is to rent a taxi for a day (we were quoted c2500 baht for 6 hours) and they can drop you wherever you like and wait for you. Thanks again for a lovely stay at serenity resort!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this resort. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and well taken care of. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, with a stunning view that made every morning special. The facilities were excellent — the pool area was relaxing and well maintained, and there were plenty of comfortable spots to unwind. The food was delicious, with a great variety of options to choose from. Everything felt thoughtfully planned to ensure guests have a memorable experience.

Really enjoyed our stay. Immaculate property, pool area spacious and well maintained. Restaurant serves wonderful food authentic Thai which we enjoyed so much. Last but not least the extremely friendly staff makes this resort stand out from the rest. Will definitely return.

Khách sạn tuyệt vời. Trẻ em rất thích 3 bể bơi và công viên nước. Phòng ốc tuyệt vời với không gian rộng rãi. Đồ ăn ngon và dịch vụ xuất sắc. Nhân viên đã giúp đỡ các bé trong giờ ăn. Khách sạn có thể đáp ứng mọi nhu cầu nhưng cũng có các tiện nghi địa phương chỉ cách đó vài phút đi bộ, bao gồm dịch vụ giặt là và nhà hàng Ý tuyệt vời của Marco. Khách sạn được chia thành 2 khu vực đối diện nhau - công viên nước là nơi hầu hết các gia đình như chúng tôi ở, khu vực bãi biển cũng rất tuyệt. Tôi không ngờ bãi biển lại đẹp đến vậy - chắc chắn đáng để ghé thăm. Bãi biển ở đây đẹp hơn nhiều so với bãi biển phía nam: cát vàng mịn và độ sâu tăng dần - rất tốt cho trẻ em. Rất nên đến.

Stayed here for 5 nights. Such a pleasure to spend time in Koh Chang at KC. The staff were so friendly and thoughtful. The barman at the rooftop bar was so friendly and kind too. We arrived at 7am and we were still allowed to enjoy the pool and sunbed amenities while we waited for check-in at 2pm. The breakfast was lovely. Something for everyone. Location is perfect. 7-Eleven, bike rental, pharmacy, restaurants - all right next to the hotel. The beach front is also really lovely and it's easy to spend the whole day by the pool and beach front. It's the perfect place if you're looking for a one-stop holiday.

It was such a pleasant stay located in Kaibae which is my favorite area when I stay in Koh chang. The price is too good to be real comparing to what you get, free breakfast, clean nice budget room, very polite staff, great location, 4 pools in the property?? It's just insane to me!!

Definitely a perfect place for hideaway. Stayed at the garden villa with private jacuzzi, have the river +sea view from the villa. The resort is by the river and not far away from the beach. We can ride the boat provided by the hotel to the beach for free. Kayaking is available at THB 150 per hour and it’s quite fun. Location wise, there’s no 7-11 or any convenient shops within walking distance but all reachable with a motorbike, which is rentable at the lobby of the resort. The staffs are very friendly and helpful, will definitely come back!

This hotel is situated over the water with stilts, which I loved. Its unique appearance, with all its natural wood flooring and decks adds to its charm and feel of the fishing community. It’s a terrific place to stay for some great Thai Seafood! The VIP rooms are recommended as they are spacious and have a lovely outside space to relax over looking the water. They also have plenty of windows and natural lighting. These rooms are very comfortable. It has a restaurant attached to it, also over the water on stilts, which serves fantastic, fresh sea food dishes! My favorite meals was the barracuda with sweet and sour sauce and the calamari. They are good sized meals and their fresh juices are also perfect for the heat! Aoys farm bakery and cafe is also very close by. If you go to your left of the entrance to this hotel you will see the sign for her cafe and bakery. Aoy makes the most delicious cakes that are supplied to many hotels and businesses on the island! Highly recommend going to see her charming cafe and bakery! It’s a short walk and great for fantastic breakfasts and fresh juices or warm drinks, if you don’t want sea food at the resort, go there! The pool is lovely, as the water below the hotel is not clean and we did not want to swim in it. There are other beach locations for swimming. You can hire a fishing rod and do some DIY fishing, or pay for fishing half or full day trips, hire bikes, and kayaks. I was satisfied with this location and would certainly consider staying there again for a night or two!
