Everything was really good. We had a room with terass and a view of the sea. It was stunning.
Room was very clean and sheets where changed daily, which was nice when you have two dogs that sneak into bed during the night.
Location was great. A short distance walk to the town center with shops and restaurants.
The parking service was great. They park the car for you and when you need it they will bring the car in front of the hotel within 15 minutes. It will cost you 20€/ night but it's hassle free.
Staff is fantastic. We arrived around 6AM (much earlier than expected), and way too early for the normal check-in time. We were absolutely exhausted after a night of driving and our room wasn't ready. But the staff was kind enough to give us a room to sleep in, and at 11AM we could check-in to our booked room. Free of charge!
Breakfast was also great and they do packed breakfast if you leave before breakfast time.
The hotel doesn't do laundry, but there is a laundry place 800m away.

JJulien AvezouWe spent a fantastic week in this hotel. It was amazing to have direct access to a beautiful private beach as well as an infinity pool. There were plenty of loungers to relax. The location was great, right on the sea side and close to the train station. The shuttle service provided by the hotel that takes you into Taormina was also excellent. The staff were all super friendly too.
However I felt that there was a lack of affordable meal options and the breakfast offering became monotonous after some days.
Overall a very special place that I look forward to returning to one day.

TTài khoản kháchOverlooking the Ionian Sea, the Grand Hotel San Pietro is a beautiful hotel with landscaped gardens and excellent amenities. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful and the rooms are well appointed and very comfortable.
Located within a 10-15 minute walk of the shopping and sightseeing area of Taormina, makes this 5 Star hotel an excellent choice.
The staff, as mentioned, are very courteous and helpful - and it is quite easy to become friends with them. Infact, Christian and Loretta (who work in the bar area during the evenings) are 2 staff members that I highly commend - not only for their service but for the exceptional time we spent with them.
This hotel is highly recommended and I certainly look forward to returning in the not too distant future.

TTài khoản kháchThe hotel could not be in a better location with views of Etna, the town of Taormina and the sea. I had a single room. It was very small and only had a partial view which was a bit disappointing but I didn't pay much. The pool was shut which was a shame as although it is February it was warm and I would have liked a swim. I didn't eat at the hotel but did try to have a drink in the bar. Sat for around 15 minutes with no service so gave up. It was a shame as they had live piano music. I am not sure if service is better if you paid more or it is a little indifferent at the best of times. It is out of season so the hotel was not busy. Still fabulous destination and the hotel has a lot of history so definitely worth a visit.

NNickiR82We just had the most wonderful stay at La Plage. We arrived and were seen immediately and offered a drink whilst we checked in. We were then given a tour of the hotel and some information on the local area.
We were shown to our room which was a sea front bungalow with a hot tub. Just gorgeous! We had the most beautiful view of Isola Bella.
The next morning we were awake before the birds for an excursion to Etna (for my birthday), before we left someone appeared at the door with a birthday cake and a candle. A really lovely touch. Upon our return the ladies who cleaned the rooms stopped by whilst I enjoyed a glass of wine in the hot tub to say hello and sang me happy birthday too!
The service was impeccable from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff are AMAZING and so attentive. The food is delicious. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this hotel and the people who work there.
Thank you everyone in La Plage for making our stay so perfect. We can’t wait to come back

CChristina PabloWe had a last minute change with my husband and my father (52, and 83) to Taormina and so it was a challenge with very little prep time where to stay in a vertical place with my elderly father who is in good shape but challenged by long walks, inclines and extreme heat. We did it all-- close to the bus station (4 minutes), Corso Umberto (8 minutes), the Antico Teatrico and the view cannot be beat. There's souvenir shops and a mini mart within 4 minutes walk and the cable car is also only 5 minutes away. My husband and I enjoyed the pool and the views. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast the next morning before leaving. No one could be more helpful or nicer in this hotel.
CONS: It's a steep driveway to climb up and down for the elderly. Watching my dad in either direction was a little dicey and with his blood thinners I did not want him to take a spill.
PROS: Everything else.

TTài khoản kháchХороший отель! У меня оказался очень поздний заезд после того, как они закрыли ресепшн. Очень странно! Я выбирала отель с ресепшн 24/7! Они оставили мне записку с подробной инструкцией на двери отеля. В ней говорилось, что ключи от комнаты я найду в двери, а их там не было!!! Мой сонный мозг смог додуматься только для того, чтобы спуститься на пустой ресепшн и забрать ключи оттуда. При check-out вопросов не было.

MMike_travelHôtel situé juste à côté du funiculaire pour Taormina. Les chambres sont simples et légèrement datées mais parfaitement suffisantes pour une nuit. L’hôtel bénéfice d’une très belle vue sur la mer. Se garer gratuitement en voiture n’est pas évident en pleine saison (quartier avec beaucoup de passage).
