原來想訂的酒店沒房了，看到25年薪裝修而且五分好評，馬上定了。非常寧靜小區裏面，家家都有攝像頭，安保措施非常好。房間非常乾淨漂亮，衞生間非常整潔乾淨，看得出來房東非常非常愛乾淨。因為樓梯和房間鋪的是白色地毯，行李箱都放在最底層不上樓，要脱鞋上樓，非常理解，我都不捨得弄臟白白的地毯。自己可以準備一雙乾淨拖鞋，廚房地面是瓷磚，冬天還是有點涼的。廚房共用，可以用微波爐熱熟食，燒開水，不能做飯菜。房東還貼心準備了一些零食，其中一種是非洲的零食“Qinqin”，很好吃。晚上熱情的房東陪我聊了很久，第一次知道自己的三腳貓英語還有能支撐與老外的對話那麼久。房東非常熱情、很貼心，熱水壺裡麪隨時注滿了冷水，一按鍵就可以燒。早上還貼心為我叫了UBER。總之，房間非常乾淨漂亮，房東熱情細心，可以閉眼安心入住。 衞生間毛巾架是立體的，好貼心的設計，贊一個！ 另外，給攜程提個意見：攜程的地圖顯示酒店在市中心，我們準備走過去的，但因為太冷，叫了UBER，到了才發現方向完全相反，也不在鬧市區。希望攜程馬上改正，在國外語言不通，還要被攜程的地圖誤導，這麼折騰的話，太可憐了。

DoubleTree by Hilton Sheffield City was exactly what I needed during my business trip. Comfortable, reliable, and quietly kind. From the moment I arrived, the check-in was smooth and welcoming, and that first warm cookie felt like a small but genuine gesture of care after a long journey. The location is convenient, close to the city centre yet peaceful enough to rest. It made moving between meetings and personal time easy, something I truly appreciated. The room was modern, clean, and quiet. The bed was comfortable, the lighting soft, and everything worked perfectly. It was not about luxury, but about thoughtful comfort that helps you recharge. Breakfast offered a good variety and the restaurant had a calm atmosphere that made mornings feel easy. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help without being intrusive. What stood out the most was the consistency. Every part of the stay felt dependable and well cared for. That sense of steadiness made it easy to relax and focus on the purpose of the trip. Excellent location, within walking distance to many shops, restaurants, Winter garden, gallery etc. There isn’t any onsite parking but the hotel offers discounted parking at the nearby The Moor car park (2 minutes walk away). Definitely will stay again.

Robin, on the reception desk, was very professional and friendly and gave me a very warm welcome and a great first impression. The hotel, being directly attached to the Winter Garden, has a great central location and is less than ten minutes by foot to the train station (which is all wheelchair and suitcase accessible). All the breakfast staff were also attentive and helpful even early in the morning.

Terrible facilities as this hotel was decorated long long time ago. I've booked the hotel for 2 nights and on the first night the wall mounted hair dryer exploded with a huge sound and burnt odour, and the hotel was fully booked so no room for us to move we have to sleep with the burnt odour. On the second day the hot water supply is broken as there was no hot water supply in my room, only room temperature (slightly warm)water, the night shift staff tried to fix it but failed. This is one of the terrible experience I've ever had. The room is also very old, please imagine 1970's rooms Staffs are good especially the night shift staff who actively helped us. Location is good.

It was an impressive and pleasant stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a family room, which was perfect for our trip, very spacious and with great view. The bed mattress is one of the best in all my experience. I had great sleep during the stay. The cleanliness of the room was ok. The location is very convenient if you are driving - 20 mins drive to the walking trails and 10 mons drive to centre of Sheffiled. David from the restaurant provided highly professional and helpful service for our breakfast. All in all, we would consider staying at this hotel again if we visit this area again.
