I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Cham Cham in Taitung! The hotel is stunningly beautiful, impeccably clean, and everything feels so new and well-maintained. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing top-notch service from check-in to check-out.
One of the biggest advantages is its convenient location right next to the train station, which makes travel super easy. However, it’s worth noting that it’s a bit far from Taitung City, so you may need some extra time for city visits.
Overall, this hotel is perfect for those looking for a modern and serene stay with excellent service. Highly recommended!

This is a really cosy place. I really love my room. Clean and modern interior. The only downside might be the location. It's close to the train station. But there isn't much nearby for food. Probably best to rent a scooter to explore Taitung anyway to make your stay more convenient. They are plenty of scooter shops near the train station too.

Route 8101A and Express A (ferry harbor) bus stop is not too far from the hotel if east coastal attractions and the Green Island are your destinations. 8101A departs once a day at 8:30 to major sightseeings along the coastal highway in a cruise ship style ride with 30 to 60 minute stay at each attraction and then returns to the departure stop in a close loop. Express A to the ferry harbor in 20 minute ride with a 30 minute bus interval.

Fantastic hotel all round. Not only was the room clean and comfortable, but the dinner and breakfast included with the stay were delicious, and had a very wide variety of dishes and drinks to choose from.
Would not hesitate to stay here (or at other Kindness Hotel branches) again!

熊站自助民宿距離台東車站僅須步行5至10分鐘，交通相當便利，不管是坐火車或是搭乘客運都是首選，自行開車前往也不需擔心停車問題，道路上的停車空間大且不收費，民宿住宿的空間偏小，浴室廁所也是僅足夠進入後退的空間，體型較大的人可能會被卡住，算是美中不足的點，另外因為是透天住宅改裝，所以每個房間貼的太緊，導致每個房間的噪音影響會非常大，看電視或是談話可能會導致隔壁房間的人都可以聽得到，也是怕吵的人需要注意的。

Kkate_12023This hostel is very suitable for backpackers. The room is so comfortable and the price is very affordable. If you travel with friends, the price of the two-person room per one person is almost the same as the room that has 4 single beds for 4 individuals.
The photo is a random photo, but look how comfortable the atmosphere is. I like the tone of the room which is white and earth tone.

Waking up in the morning to a breath of fresh air, with sunlight gently illuminating the vast green fields and the soothing sounds of birds chirping—it’s an instant moment of relaxation. The guesthouse is impeccably maintained, offering a peaceful and nature-filled retreat, truly a hidden paradise for relaxation.
The highlight of the stay was the coffee machine provided by the guesthouse—offering Starbucks-quality finely ground coffee with an irresistible aroma. Enjoying a freshly brewed cup while gazing at the beautiful scenery outside made every moment of the trip feel worthwhile. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with thoughtful details that showed great hospitality.
If you’re looking for a place to escape the hustle and bustle and immerse yourself in nature, this is undoubtedly the best place to stay in Taitung. I will definitely be coming back next time I visit! 🌿☀️☕

Trẻ em chơi dưới nước nhiều đến nỗi không muốn về nhà. Ngoại trừ việc ăn uống, chúng chỉ muốn chơi dưới nước mọi lúc 😆 Bữa sáng và trà chiều miễn phí rất ngon, và các hoạt động khác rất thân thiện với cha mẹ và con cái. Tôi muốn quay lại và ở lại lần nữa. Tôi thực sự khuyên bạn nên đến đây

NNgười Dùng Ẩn DanhThe location of the hostel is about 100m away from Taitung bus station. The bed/pillow/blanket are hotel standard as their main service is hotel.
However, there is only 1 toilet for 6 beds.
Also, there is no sign in the room indicating 'to keep lower voice/sound'. Had bad experience that local young lady return to the hostel in the middle of the night with big bang sound and walk on the tatami like big elephant for several nights. Also, waking up at around 6am with very harsh sound drawing the curtain. Definitely not a good experience.
The hotel should put a note to remind all traveller to behave themselves. I believe the local has lesser experience to respect other travellers when staying in dormitory.

Yyona vanI had booked a room in the “hostel” section, but it’s actually more of a hotel pretending to also be a hostel. The cleanliness in the room left much to be desired (from what i could see the window sill is clearly never cleaned, hair on the clean sheets, etc.). On top of that, the lockers are fake in the sense that they don’t lock, so they’re basically just cupboards that anyone can open.
As for the bathroom, some of the shower doors are broken and were literally left abandoned inside the shower. What was my surprise to see that there were cockroaches ?? The next day, I came back to the room to take a shower and there was no electricity in the bathroom anymore.
I asked for compensation because the price I paid was completely disproportionate to the state of the facilities. The receptionist was friendly and offered to move me to a private room (in the hotel section), but the problems continued: when I opened the bathroom door, I once again found cockroaches. Moreover, the humidity doesn’t seem to evacuate properly, and there’s a nauseating smell inside. The lock on the door leading from the room to the hallway doesn’t work. The finishing of the construction work is terrible, nothing is right.
In short, my advice is : do not come to this hotel.
