We stayed at Harry’s home in Salzburg city centre for 3 nights between 20/12/25 and 23/12/25. There were three of us, including our 5-year old daughter. The hotel itself is situated very centrally, just 5 minutes away from Salzburg’s main railway station, where one can also get access to most of the buses as well. There is also parking available right on the back of the hotel, which is owned by the city of Salzburg, but the hotel can help with booking. A 24-h pass cost me 15 Euros. When we arrived, there must have been some problem with the booking platform, as I was told that the hotel’s system had us down as two adults, but our booking included a child via trip.com-note to trip.com: check your platform and the kind of information it sends to hotels’ systems please! Anyway, the only problem caused by that was that the sofa bed was not made up as a bed, but they came upstairs and made it with my help. The room we stayed in was small; there’s no denying it. However, we did not need anything big, as we were out all day. Also, it was very clean and tidy! It was warm when we got there and we dialled the temperature down ourselves, which is always a plus. Moreover, there was a little kids’ corner on the ground floor with various plush animals, cards, etc. for the little ones. My daughter and I spent some time playing there. On the basement, there was a guest kitchen in case anyone wanted to microwave anything and eat it there, and there were also two washing machines and two tumble dryers, which I made use of; very efficient and economical! The staff were polite and professional, but In would have liked them to smile more! Overall, a very nice stay, a decent room to stay in and an overall enjoyable experience.

Within walking distance to the hbf. We booked family room, the space is big enough for the family. Variety of breakfast. Also you could walk to mirabell palace from the hotel. 20€ fee for parking per day.

Poor self-check in arrangement. I have arrived after 3 pm, but the check-in information from the email was changed without notification. Finally, I have solved the problem by the help of other guest but not the staff.

Check in done by two very professional and pleasant gentleman which is a great start. We had questions regarding traffic arrangements to Hallstatt and they were very helpful. Overall a great stay though we need to take bus to get to most of the places but the bus stop is just around the corner

Hotel Review: Holiday in Salzburg We had a delightful stay at Holiday in Salzburg during our trip. The hotel’s location is excellent—easily accessible via public transport, with both the train and bus stations nearby, making it very convenient for travelers. The staff was attentive and present, ensuring that all our needs were taken care of promptly. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor added to the overall positive experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing space to unwind after exploring the city. The amenities offered were sufficient, and everything was in good working order. Overall, our stay was a happy one, and we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Salzburg. It provided great value for the location and service.
