I was in town for a work conference. During the conference I was notified my child had fallen ill and I had to leave to return home to her. I had not checked in yet to the hotel. I called and asked due to extenuating circumstances could they refund my money and provide a cancellation. They were rude and unwilling to even do a partial refund. I booked online so I then turned to trip.com to handle it, submitted documentation of where I returned home and took my child to urgent care. The hotel was still unwilling to work with me.
