Spent 2 nights Le Rochelois. It is advertised as a 2-star hotel but I would put it at maybe a 2.5 star! It is a 30 minute walk from town but the 6 and 7 buses drop you 200 meters away. Be aware, however, that the day bus service ends at 8.45pm and if you miss that, you will have to walk (or get the night buses which leave you about 1km away. Also, buses run just once per hour on a Sunday (it pays to research the bus timetable!)). The room in the hotel we had was excellent. We had a downstairs room with a balcony The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet was very basis but good enough to help you start the day. The swimming pool did not appear to be open but it was October and it might have been a bit chilly anyway! in summary, a good place to stay at a very affordable price but do your homework on the bus times!!

Lovely stay, great rate on the room. Spa facilities were good but decor felt a bit unfinished - maybe it’s not finished I’m not sure. Service was impeccable and front of house were very helpful in particular. Free parking on the street and in the hotel parking lot. Great stay.

well after arriving from Bordeaux was a little spectacle But How Wrong Was I this is the best hotel i have stayed in france And I Mean it just outside the centre by less than 2 k walking distance was greeted by a very ambitions young employer who advised us of the do,s and Don'ts which is normal was handed the key and also escorted with the baggage to the lift and as from there was the beat nights sleep i have ever had in a hotel and it was in a busy location i slept like a log as did my partner fantastic sleep would return with out hesitation and there services at the hotel are exempt / swimming pool / sauna . tennis courts / steam room and last of all the gym you have all exercice classes available through your stay so to be a example this hotel is the best in rochelle and the staff are amazing and cant help you enough if i can give 20 stars i would

Accueil et départ mitigé : on nous demande pas si ça été ou pas ? Petit déj en libre service pas top... Literie trop dure. Petit déj et accès spa en sus du tarif chambre=trop cher par rapport a la qualité donné Manque de personnel Insonorisation pas top

séjour reposant et agréable petit déjeunez correcte, chambre assez grande et lit confortable sauf humidité énorme dans la chambre et énormément de moisissures au plafond et impossible de mettre la climatisation dans la chambre donc obligé de dormir fenêtre ouverte donc bruit de l’extérieur empêchant le sommeil

Un plaisir sans cesse renouvelé ! Mes nombreux séjours familiaux au Rochelois sont sont sans cesse un plaisir renouvelé. Un cocon douillet, merveilleusement bien situé. Des chambres spacieuses et confortables. La piscine, la salle de sports, le tennis... Les couloirs décorés des plus grands mythes du cinéma français Je recommande vivement!!

Des chambres spacieuses et confortables, une vue unique, la salle de sport et la piscine. Les couloirs décorés des plus grands mythes du ciné français. Un excellent rapport qualité prix . Nous avons, encore, passé un très bon séjour. Très bon accueil, chambre (32) spacieuse (refaite et insonorisée) avec une grande salle de bains et des toilettes séparés. La vue sur le front de mer est imprenable. Nous vous conseillons cet établissement.
