Checked in late afternoon after driving from Barcelona. Check in was seem less and beautiful lady on reception was lovely! After finding our car park and room (up a few flights of stairs) we found a great room with a balcony and views of the pool and sea! Unfortunately our AC wouldn't change from hot to cool but our lovely receptionist came to check our room and apologised and quickly organised a fan. Balcony was cool and we just had to leave the door open to get a breeze. Only here for 2 days but just a beautiful spot!

Stayed at the Hotel Calina with the missus and our 2 kids whilst attending a family wedding in the area. Firstly the hotel is located in a stunning location with views across Port Lligat bay and next door to the Salvador Dali museum (tip you need to book in advance to access the museum). The Hotel was clean and in pristine condition. The staff are friendly and professional. However, there was an overall aura about the place that just quietens the mind and leaves you feeling totally relaxed.

Paradise in Catalunia. Time warp -- civilised guests, adorable staff -- no neon, no blaring music, dogs allowed 3 minute walks with our SUPs to the sea. Mind-boggling sunsets and sunrises, safe parking,... all stuff become scare in the Disnelandisation (all mass tourism) of the modern world

We were looking for a quiet dog friendly hotel away from the hustle and bustle of the centre of Cadeques it was all of that plus wonderful staff a great car park shaded with mulberry trees A great pool and our room had a private terrace straight out onto the pool the room was small but fine for a couple and a dog Very clean and breakfast with indoor and outdoor seating by the pool which had such a great choice of food and drinks included in the price The most amazing wild boar’s roaming outside the hotel and beach you need to be careful not to get too close to a mother pig if she has babies otherwise really lovely to see them

We had an amazing stay in fact we extended it for two more nights. Charming town, close to everything, very clean, spacious, friendly. Close to amazing views, hikes and town. Highly recommend this place. Would definitely come back.

Great hotel in a beautiful location. Our room was clearly recently renovated and was quiet and nice. Staff was friendly. Keep in mind when booking here that it is in a very remote location and can be difficult to get to. Google Maps routed us through Cadaques's waterfront area which was very wrong and we were stuck for some bit. The hotel called us and helped us know an alternative route to get to the hotel. Also there is limited food options. We were there on a Saturday night and the hotel's bar does tapas only (after the breakfast buffet) until 2000 so we were unable to eat there. Another restaurant just feet away was closed so there was only one option for food. If you're looking for food and shops, hit up Cadaques before heading to the hotel. Those things aside, the hotel itself is really cute and it sits adjacent to Dali's house with a great little cove where numerous boats dock in the cove. I would definitely return knowing what I know now.

This place is a total gem!! Initially took a bit of finding (car GPS took us only to the public parking lot at the top of the hill) but we found the hotel grounds after a very short walk. Stunning location: right on a little bay, excellent layout with gorgeous pool. Our room opened up to little patio sitting area which faced the pool and the sea. Staff very warm and helpful. Nice breakfast. Super close to the Dali house (a must-see, book in advance). A lovely quiet spot and a short walk to Cadaques. Would highly recommend.

Excellent hotel! We will come back! Staff very polite, very helpful, rooms quiet, close to beach, not very far from city centre. Easy parking, excellent breakfast, nice pool. Quiet, clean, good beds, AC in room.

Don’t quite understand the Spanish system of grading their hotels Whilst we were in a junior suite and so paying a fair amount, the pool, setting and service were far superior than the rating suggests Breakfast was ok though not much fresh fruit around.Yes there can be a queue for the coffee machine. An unusual arrangement; just have to gauge your moment The tapas on offer is a bit dull. There’s more choice and buzz in the adjoining beach cafe Good kayaking available from the beach. The Dali house around the corner is well worth a visit. The walk from the hotel to Cadaques is a little strenuous but a good way of walking off that great dinner you have just enjoyed
