Terrible and very rude staff named Linda. Arrived early around 12pm and got confirmed for an upgrade but had to wait for the room. After we went back around 4pm for checking in again they didn’t give us any upgrade so this rude Linda staff came and talked to us and asked us to wait for AROUND 1hr and gave us another room to wait in. We waited for more than an hour so we called and checked whether the room was ready yet and again Linda told us the room wouldn’t be ready until 6pm but if we wanted we can get the normal room instead. We had already waited for more than an hour at this point. We went down to the reception to check with them again and this Linda told us that room wasn’t ready as she already informed us when we arrived that it would take MORE THAN an hour to get it ready. She said she didn’t say AROUND AN HOUR BUT MORE THAN AN HOUR and tried to teach us basic English instead of doing her job to get the room ready asap. In the end we got our room at 6pm!!! Wasted whole afternoon waiting for this room getting misinformed by very rude staff.

京都性價比最高的萬豪系酒店 低調又很有細節 公共湯池很驚喜！酒店的早餐千萬不要錯過，在京都吃到最有當地特色的日式早餐了 而且酒店位置很方便，離鴨川和京都中心不遠，可步行也可以公交 去周邊的嵐山或三千院都順路

非常不錯的酒店，離京都市役所站很近，也可以步行到鴨川，周邊購物美食非常多。酒店大堂有咖啡吧，可以免費享用，遊玩累了有公共浴池泡澡，可以舒舒服服消除一天的疲憊

給中國人低樓層，即使我們是萬豪大使會員，並且沒有升級，雖然送了早餐，是在日本住了四個酒店中唯一沒有升級的酒店，皮笑肉不笑的白種人感覺並不友好，日本人反而比較熱情，但不太會説英語…

前台辦理比較慢，應該是遇到新人辦理，設施挺好，房間比較小，有室內泡温泉的，人比較少

服務很到位，房間也很安靜

1人でふらっと休日に利用させてもらいました。京都の大学で4年間過ごしていた土地なので、土地勘がありこの立地はとても便利でした。ただ京都をあまり知らない人からすると河原町繁華街からちょっと遠く感じるかもしれません。わたしは、朝は歩いて進々堂のパン屋さんにモーニングをして河原町でぶらぶらしたりしました。ホテルのロビーもいい香りがしていい感じ。系列の大阪本町のホテルも利用しますが、ロビーや外観はここの方が好みです。大浴場がかなり気に入りました。静かで京都らしい雰囲気と広さに感動しました。お部屋からの眺望はゼロなので窓をあけて解放感とかは望めません。なので、お値段をもう少しおさえてもらえるといい感じかなと思いました。

With an excellent location this cozy hotel offers all what is needed to explore Kyoto. Not far from the train station and walking distance from the modern shopping area this modern hotel has a wonderful staff, great breakfast and free excellent coffee machine available all day long in the lobby. Rooms are nice. Price excellent for Japan.

Amazing staff who took good care of us during our stay. Rooms are clean and include the most comfortable pajamas. The public baths are clean and elegant. Delicious breakfast in the morning. Suite includes a portable speaker and chargers which was a great amenity.

The location was okay. It’s not near Kyoto Station or in Gion, but we felt as if we were centrally located. It’s about 3 blocks from the nearest subway station and walkable to several popular streets. The rooms were small but most Japanese hotel rooms are. Probably a little small for an American-style hotel. We really didn’t enjoy that we couldn’t see out the windows. The on-site onsen was excellent and the gym was nice. The best part for us was the free happy hour every day due to my Marriott status. This is a very busy hotel and a good choice, although you could probably find a hotel in a more convenient location and with bigger rooms.
