It was a fantastic cultural experience. We felt like guests being invited into someone's home rather than a regular hotel guest. We stayed in the room with the garden which definitely seemed to be the correct choice, the beds were very comfortable and the traditional Japanese breakfast was excellent! Definitely would reckon this experience!

Such an amazing experience in Kyoto! If you’re looking for a traditional Japanese experience you must stay in a Ryokan! The staff were PERFECT. I can’t think of any hotel staff who have ever been so nice and helpful. Something to note: There’s a curfew at 11 or 12 I think, this is not the kind of place to plan on going out. Think of staying at your grandmas house, her rules.

房間太驚艷啦，很喜歡的日式風格，入住時工作人員熱情的介紹了整棟房子的結構和使用情況，很精緻美好的房間及整個倆層樓的設施，外國人入住的比較多，雖100多年歷史的房屋，感覺維修保養的挺好，衞生間很舒服，泡澡的桶很特別很舒服！入住送的抹茶🍵和果子好吃😋，自製的日式早餐也挺不錯噠，下次去京都再去體驗感受。

古色古香，彷彿浸潤在日本緩緩流動的歷史長河之中，美感之中卻又不乏便利，現代化設備一應俱全，唯一要更正一下的是，這家酒店叫“十四春”，翻譯要修正一下

10年前去京都曾經住在那裡，所以這次特地也訂了十四春。酒店重新翻新過，經營者應該也換了，會説些簡單的英文。住的是五月的房間，開門就是小院子，很喜歡，唯一的缺點就是户外的廁所有點冷，沒有熱水

服務十分到位。

Staying here was one of our favorite experiences in Japan. You feel like you are staying with a family. The ryokan is very clean and modern, the private onsen is incredible, and the breakfast is delicious. I would highly recommend staying here!!

Amazing hospitality and beautiful property. We were sad to leave. A unique cultural experience that felt like stepping into the past. All the employees were beyond kind and helpful. Truly a magical night and a highlight of our trip. Could not recommend more highly.

Staying at this Ryokan was the highlight of our entire Japan trip! If you are looking for a traditional Japanese experience/stay, this is the perfect fit for you! From the moment we stepped in the door, we were greeted with warmth, hospitality, and hot tea/mochi. Our room was beautiful and the layout beds were very comfortable too. Our room had walk out access to the beautiful garden. The shower/bath area was incredibly clean and I had the most relaxing bathing experience ever! You must have the traditional Japanese breakfast as well, as this will complete your whole stay! If I’m ever back in Kyoto, I’d love to stay here again! The hospitality, food, and staff were beyond amazing.

The staff here is amazing. I've been travelling across Japan for 3 weeks and the staff here was the best I've ever encountered! They were very accommodating, friendly, and energetic. I highly recommend this Ryokan to anyone!

Very friendly staff, good service and special atmosphere with over a hundred years old building. Two different baths (not onsen) and cozy room. We paid 400 euros (for one night) to get real ryokan experience and spent nice and relaxing time in there. However it was not really worth of that amount of money.
