Prima hotel en voor een goede prijs. De kamers zijn groot genoeg en er is zelfs in iedere kamer een eigen wasbak. En ook is de kust makkelijk te bereiken met het openbaar vervoer

Walls were dirty and there was a bad smell.
Staff were friendly however there is no parking on site you have to park your car on the street

Room was too hot to sleep, luckily we brought a portable fan with us as the fan in the room was useless as the proverbial. Had to open the windows to let the breeze in and the noise from the pub came in through the windows.
Doors sqeaked constantly and kept hearing doors slamming all night. The staff were very friendly, just had issues with the room.

You get what you pay for. Note there is NO air conditioning, and no ensuite - it is a shared bathroom (clean). We attended a function in the General Roberts and used the accommodation as it was convenient. It was summer and stifling hot - the window only opens 10cm and it is a busy road outside. The bed ensemble and pillows were very poor quality

Decent stay for the price. The bed was kind of stiff so not the most comfortable. There were some cleanliness issues in the room, there was a terrible smell in the room and the cushions on the bed were stained. The shared bathrooms were clean though. The room faced the main road with no AC so it was loud in the room if you wanted to have a breeze, otherwise the room was very stuffy. Staff was nice, and the food at the pub was good! Worth it for the price but could be slightly cleaner.

Room very small, no bathroom as we thought was adveriltised on the General Roberts google website. Powerpoint was hidden behind curtain on the other side of the room not close to the bed. As I need a CPAP machine staff provded an extension cord on a long reel. This was a trip hazard when the shared bathroom was needed during the night. No bedside lamp to see in the darkened room. When we expressed our frustration we were offered free drinks for the inconvenience which we declined. We were then told we would receive half our payment back. This never happened. Only thing good was the meal in the dining room.
