The hotel has a strategic location. And it is very convenient for travelers.

We had a nice stay. Hotel is comfortable and room was a good size. Great shower. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Price was good. Only think negative would be the location as it is a long way from the main areas. Basin drains block easily. All that said, we did stay there for a second time.

Celyn Hotel has more than 1 branch in KK (Kota Kinabalu). One branch is located in the city centre and is called Celyn City Hotel. The other hotel is called Celyn City Mall and is about 3.5 km away from the centre. I thought I had booked the City Centre hotel but it turned out that my reservation was at the City Mall hotel. Something to be aware of when you are booking. Having said that, the staff at both hotels were excellent and very helpful, so excellent customer service. My room at the City Mall hotel was spacious with all the amenities as listed. There is a mall very close by and many eating places around the hotel. The only possible downside is that the location is out of town which means that you have to hire a Maxim/Grab taxi whenever you want to go to look at the sights or do other touristy things in Kota Kinabalu (KK). This adds to your cost as you would also have to hire a taxi to get back to the hotel. Great for guests who have a car but location not so good if you have to hire a taxi all the time. I had a very comfortable and pleasant day.

Simple & fast proses at the counter

A place that is easy to find food and shopping. But when you get out of the elevator ada smell of carpet. Even in the room also ada bau & dalam bilik pula ada cockroach kecil2. saya suka tinggal sini. harap pihak hotel dapt perbaiki.

We booked a deluxe double room. The room is quite spacious and comfortable. The floor is wooden which is good, not carpet. The only downside is there are 1 or 2 pcs floors broken. Hopefully the Management will repair it.

Cleanliness rated 3 cause bedsheets and towels got stained. The water boiler cleanliness is questionable. Location very strategic. Easy access to good food. Service was good. They provides everything we asked. The tv remote was broken though. But overall our stays is enjoyable.

Good location, responsive room service, clean and comfortable room, fast check out. It was an excellent stay. Located slightly further away from city centre and therefore offers quiet surroundings for good rest,If hotel could provide covered car park, that will be great.

A very cozy place to stay. Near city mall easy to fund foods. Got cinema also
