Having such. Budget friendly hotel when compared to amenities and a good cleaned room really amazed me and it felt great.

I had been at this hotel earlier in the year & found it to be nice. However, this time round I found d the rooms a little disappointing. There was a mustiness about the place. The bathroom floor was slippery. They kept forgetting to give us our towels. We had to keep asking for them. Breakfast was also not very good this time round, limited choices & service was very slow. However, the front desk staff were good & helpful. Checkin was fast & we got our room fast. Hope they can improve their room cleanliness & housekeeping.

The hotel is in a good location, not too far from the airport but a little far from the city. It's clean and staff are friendly. Breakfast was included in my rate and was decent but of course offered a mostly small Indian selection of food.

If pay via credit card, ensure to keep the receipt upon checkout, it sucks... 😞😞😞

I have just spend some time at Howard Johnson by Wyndham Kolkata and what a good surprise. The hotel team is taking a good care of the place and makes you feel very comfortable. The restaurant is something, food is super tasty and I have enjoyed very much all I have ate. I will definitely come back. Big thank to sandip Ghosn that brings me my room service, Nikhil mondal who takes care of my room everyday, Bhabna from the restaurant but as well the people I didn’t name, from the kitchen to restaurant staff and the lobby, that are all part of the great job. Thanks a lot for your attention and your service. 🙏🏻

Close to the airport and good for early morning transit. Room is big and clean. Buffet style breakfast with mostly Indian food and some continental options.

Gentleman at Reception very pleasing attitude. Room was good with fridge nice setup but lighting is not effective. We had views of old buildings. Stairwell had very old smell due to poor ventilation. Breakfast taste was generally poor, omelette had bad smell. Dining section is beautiful and waiters etc.. very helpful. Juice and coffee were quite good.

Not like a four ⭐⭐⭐⭐ standard though they are claiming ⭐⭐⭐⭐..

The hotel staff are kind and helpful. My room was upgraded so I could be on the same floor as my traveling companions. The room was decently clean but the wifi was slow.

ฉันจองห้อง suits แต่ได้นอนห้อง deluxe เนื่องจากปบ่อยมห้ห้องให้คนอื่ยไปแล้ว เพราะเราจอง 21-24 แต่ทาเข้คอิน22 เเตาห้องเต็ม แย่มาก ! ห้องเหมือนอับชื้นไม่มีที่ระบายอากาศ

Excellent service from the host Soumita Bhattacharya with nice breakfast option available with the booking. I am very much satisfied with the hospitality from the staffs too. The hotel is just adjacent to Chinar Park More with lots of other amenities nearby. Spencers retail is beside the hotel.

Every year during Durga Puja i stay in dumdum Kolkata ..was sceptical about trying howard Johnson for the first time .. mr Debasish saha knows the true meaning of hospitality..from booking to making sure our stay is comfortable he helped us in everything and it was perfect ..great hotel , great staff's ... I'll look forward to visit again .

Well maintained room, good hospitality by the staffs. Having stayed in nearby hotels, I can easily say this place has the best meal options to have during the stay. Thanks to Soumita Bhattacharya, the guest relationship executive, for taking care of everything.

They are a privately owned and run hotel, with some form of branding agreement with Wyndham. However, nothing about this hotel is Wyndham-like. The pictures available online and the actual hotel are quite different. The entrance to the hotel is through a narrow lane which will make you doubt your decision to stay at this hotel right then. The property is dimly lit and has little ventilation. The check-in area barely has space to sit while you wait your turn. Upon check-in, you can try connecting to the wifi if you can understand their complicated login method. Even then the wifi keeps cutting out. All of this when the front desk has taken their own sweet time to share wifi login credentials. The room is shabby, like most of the hotel. The low ceiling and small size will make you feel boxed in, and isn’t the best for those who are claustrophobic. By low ceiling, I mean I can touch it without having to extend my whole arm. Stained chair, dirty bathroom, linen that is either ripped or discoloured (or both), stale smell in the room, plaster falling off the roof are some of the problems that you’ll see right off the bat. In fact, on one of the days, their water pump malfunctioned. There was no water in the loo and they were extremely casual about it. Their solution was to give a bucket of water. Definitely not coming back here!
