Vongdeuan Resort

It’s the perfect spot on koh samet. The location is further down and quieter than white sands and tubtim but the beach is a huge white crescent! The sea is crystal clear, there are a great selection of places to eat all along the beach. The Vongduan Resort is family run and the staff are so hardworking, fun and kind.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is perfect right on a beautiful and quiet beach The sea is perfect to paddle and relax in and so clear You can also rent kayaks and explore nearby and snorkel The rooms are simple but clean and very close to the beach The restaurant serves a simple but nice breakfast and overlooks the beach and you can have lunch and dinner too It is too far to walk to the main town area but you can take a baht bus Would definitely stay here again!

The chalets were a good size and just a few metres from the beach & dining complex . The swimming pool was also there. The staff were helpful and the beach front had many bars/restaurants . There's no traffic so it's a lovely quiet location . We will visit again

Nice Thai local resort located on Ao beautiful Wong Duean bay. Direct access to the beach with a clean and enjoyable environment. The whole facility would need refreshment. Breakfast is average. Good if looking for a good location without high standards.

First time on this island and first time in a resort. I was traveling during Chinese New Year so there were many guests, but it wasn't crowded. I really enjoyed my stay and would return. The hotel is a series of cabins near the beach. The hotel, and several other hotels, all sit on the same bay so there's no reason to leave the area. Vongdeuan Resort is where I ate most of my meals and I thought the food was good (I ate mostly Thai food), but you could eat/drink at one of the neighboring places too- all offer dinner on the beach. I liked that I didn't need to leave this area, but easily could go to town if I wanted to. It's easy to walk (30-45 minutes) or motorcycle (5 minutes) to the small city area on the island (ATM location). The resort can rent a bike for you or you can rent one from one of the neighboring business. The island is quite small and there are public beaches too. If I had to do it over again, I would try for one of the cabins close to the beach, but it nice where I was farther away. The cabin was clean, comfortable, good bed, and good bathroom - no complaints. I also thought that staff and management did a great job. I was here as a solo traveler, but this place seems to be set up for couples and family. Overall, it was great experience and I recommend.

Nice hotel and people. But they should be a little clearer about when the speed boat leaves from the mainland. We called them a few days in advance asking about this, and they were never clear, when we arrived at the public pier it turned out their last boat for the day had already sailed, so we needed to find our own way there. But after we arrived to the hotel everything was great.

Beautiful location. Nice staff. Food was fine, but nothing special. I would definitely return. Worth it, except be aware of boat timing to the island. We called the hotel twice before going, and arranged with the staff that we would arrive at Ban Phe Pier after 5pm, yet when we got there they said we were too late for a boat and we would have to arrange other transport. Why exactly did we call to arrange it, and why on earth would you agree to it then essentially screw us over last minute? Not a good start.

swimming pool area not always have towel to provide,when we need a tower the counter writes the tower is finish must wait after 2 hour 😅 ,overall is ok
