Predominantly a pub with rooms. Dark busy decor. Good selection on main menu, good quality, well priced. Poor healthy selection for breakfast, minimal fruit. Good parking

The knaresborough Inn was a delightful place to stay for our short break. The staff on arrival were very welcoming and friendly , booking us in very rapidly and efficiently along with being very informative about what services and offers were available as part of our stay . The hotel meals both dinner and breakfast was exceptional along with the service .. The room was very comfortable and warm along with being cleaned to an high standard .. The facilities in the room was good long with an assortment of teas and coffees and biscuits provided .. The bathroom was very modern and very well equipped..along with spotless in cleanliness ..

The hotel in general was very nice, had a lovely evening meal. We stayed in room 001 ( The Cottage) A lovely space ,comfy bed and lovely pillows,quilt. The shower was very temperamental changing between hot and cold eventually we sorted it. Due to the positioning of the cottage traffic was a problem until late and then early morning. Plenty of breakfast to choose from ,unfortunately my cooked breakfast was like warm, I did mention it to the staff and they apologised and said they would mention it to the kitchen, ended up with fruit and mini crossaint. Hotel is ideally placed with plenty of walking local.

Just had an evening in the Inn with friends and have had a cracking, excellent meal. The welcome to the K I was marvellous and we were swiftly shown to our table. All staff knew their stuff, very attentive- and, importantly, at the right time !- caring and helpful, even suggesting appropriate additions to our order: I had the most succulent steak I believe I have ever had, and all of our party agreed on the quality of all the food by (we all had steak, but all cooked differently). I recommend the scotch egg starter (which was recommended to me- thanks !) but I am jealous of the king prawn starter, so must return 🙄. Hats off to the chefs and to all the staff. I can’t wait to come back again to try more of the food !

Good easy pre-check in and registration. Very clean hotel. Our room was very quiet and comfortable. The food was very good and served quickly. Excellent value for money.

If I was rating just the location and exterior design I would have give this recently refurbished venue a 4/5 rating. But for me the quality of the food, it's price and bar prices drag it right down. For example my wife's starter of "King Prawns, costing around £12.00 consisted of three prawns on a small piece of toast and little else. My main course of fish and chips at £18.00 was dry and barely warm. A friend described his burger as "tasting like cardboard". A large glass of "lemonade", was £4.50 - more expensive than a bottle of alcohol free beer. It's a real shame because this venue deserves a better quality of food, which can be found in other pubs in the area that serve home cooked quality food at the same price.

Had a very relaxing and comfortable stay. We booked an extra night and were able to stay in the same room, which was really helpful. All of the staff were friendly and happy to help.
