We stayed here for a 3 day pre Christmas getaway. The Christmas decorations at the Knaresborough Inn were amazing and even made a grumpy grinch like me feel all festive. The room, staff and food were all great and we look forward to going again sometime soon.

Returned for our 2nd visit this year. Did not disappoint. Great place with a warm friendly feel. Good food not overpriced. Friendly staff and lovely rooms. We will definitely return.

Great hotel, friendly staff giving great service. Only downside for me was the overall temperature across the hotel was far too warm. The heating needed turning down. Thankfully we were able to do this in our room.

This was our 2nd stay at the Knaresborough Inn, having also stayed there prior to the Inn Collection taking it on. The difference is amazing, the Inn is barely recognisable from it's former incarnation. We had a great time, just as we did last year, and wouldn't hesitate to return. Our room was very quiet, which was fab, very well appointed and the bed was lovely and comfortable. The breakfasts were very good even though it was self service. The evening meals were excellent although, in my opinion, there were too many containing venison or game on this visit. Obviously there were other very tasty options so I didn't go hungry!

Stayed two nights in December and the hotel looked fantastic inside and out with all the Christmas lights and decorations adding to the beauty of the place. It was nicely located within easy walking distance to all that Knaresborough has to offer,the staff were very pleasant and attentive and Ian the duty manager was exceptional good working his socks off,a really nice touch is that if you don’t require your room to be made up the next morning they offered you a free drink.the room was compact but very clean and had everything we needed for a short break,we had an evening meal on both nights and I have to say we found the quality of the food really good.the only small niggles we had was that you do hear noise from adjoining rooms and I’m not really a fan of buffet breakfasts.I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Knaresborough and I will be looking to try some of the other hotels that this group has to offer in the near future

Hotel is fine, the staff were friendly, it was all decorated lovely for Xmas, the hotel is walking distance of everything. The breakfast was really good, we parked our car round the back, plenty of spaces. BUT, the hotel MUST inform people booking this hotel that some of the rooms are beside and above the air con unit, and the noise is unbearable until it knocks off around 11.30 ish, then starts up again around 6. It really is bad, and I certainly could not settle in our room 102, because of this, we also had builders outside our window which was from 7 till really dark , drilling banging, horrendous, thank goodness our time during day was not in hotel, I have heard someone else complain re this, so be aware, as it spoiled our stay.

First time staying since this hotel was updated and refurbished although have eaten here recently too. Positives Welcome was efficient and friendly Public areas are beautiful Bedroom clean and spacious with everything you need Bathroom clean and spacious All staff without exception were attentive and polite My quibbles are small, not much vegetation selection for evening meal. And much disappointment for the beer drinkers as no “real beer” which if these don’t bother you then I’d recommend

Our stay was faultless from stepping in the door until leaving. Wonderful stay , magical Christmas feeling with excellent and friendly staff who made us feel very welcome . The food was beautiful and great value for money. Definitely would recommend and can’t wait to return . Thank you very much
