This hotel was exceptional, it is a little dream in paradise. The resort is so relaxing, once you arrive you just feel calm. The staff are so professional and polite, always willing to help you. The rooms are exquisite with lovely decor and the swim up pool is just the icing on the cake. It is not anywhere on the island you can find these types of rooms with this style of resort and service. If you want a quiet slice of paradise this hotel is for you. Relaxing with a book on the hammock, the evening activities, painting or yoga, the fresh fruit at breakfast, swimming with the turtles. I have stayed in paje, nungwi but nothing beats staying in kizimkazi at Kwanza.

Absolutely loved our stay at Kwanza, my mom and I had the best time. We were greeted by Caroline who always had a smile. Lucky was so jolly and helpful with our bags. Ahamed was always ready to assist with any and everything. The rooms were spacious and clean though there was a day where housekeeping forgot to come and spray the mosquito repellent. We had the best spa day and would highly recommend the full package. The food was exceptional and plentiful, we got the all inclusive package so we had all meals served and would recommend that as the resort is located far from other places. The bar service though needs improving as they were slow because there was only one server per bar but the cocktails were great!! I had forgotten my phone at one of the bathrooms and it was returned to me before I even noticed so the place is very safe.

japanese hub好吃，the cave不好吃，風景還不錯，沒什麼人，但是最後一天嚴重嘔吐，自助餐廳那邊全是蒼蠅在飛，懷疑是這個原因，餐廳的衞生需要進步。（80%開蓋的自助餐都有蒼蠅在飛，很多）

الفندق من الصعب انتقادك لان الغرفة و الافطار و المرافق ممتازين و كذلك الموظفين ودودين و خدومين و الفندق في موقع هاديء بعيد عن المدينه و مقابل البحر

Would not recommend if you have special requirements We had asked for a crib while booking but they provided with an extra bed (which was horrible to sleep in) it took them more than 2 hours after our check in to bring the crib (after many follow ups) The next morning at 9 we asked house keeping to clean our room early, we even saw the cleaners near our room and told them also. They said they’ll do. When we came back to our room at 2 pm they still hadn’t cleaned the room and were still around. Precious guests’s razor blades were still in the shower cubicle even we checked in. The bathroom had a very bad smell. They probably never cleaned the shower cubicle and the sink. They were moldy and slimy Dining area was the same, they were not wiping the tables just resetting them and barely cleaning the floor Same for pool area and bars. Sticky from spilt drinks Food was good with a lot of variety Chef Sharma was a very sweet talker but never delivered. We had requested food without salt and sugar for our little one but initially no staff was aware and whatever was brought was with salt and sugar; Until Chef Fatma stepped in. We had requested for a birthday cake for our older one, again chef Sharma promised so much until the next day no one was aware and there was no cake. So they just brought the previous night’s leftover cake The buffet timings were 1 pm for lunch and 7 pm for dinner. We would reach before the time and they wouldn’t allow us (for kids) to start and they were never ready to start on time. They would make people (family with kids mainly) wait On our last day, we had asked for a late check out. Reception never got back to us and they wanted to take our bags 1 hour prior to check out time

This place was really nice and relaxing, I didn't care for the food but I'm a picky eater, the customer services was excellent they aim to please, the room smelled like molded but its possible that happens because the walls sweat due to the swimming pool, we had them mop the floors daily and turn the air condition on and that helped with the odor, also the drive into town is about an hour and a half drive (taxi fee $40-50 USD) each way! Overall the place was amazing and I would defiantly go back to visit..

Initial greeting in the beautiful clean well designed reception was so friendly & attentive. We arrived early & the staff got our room ready as soon as they could & we sat for a drink while waiting. There are 2 pools one with a swim up bar, plenty of seating l particularly loved the comfy beds on beach area. Only comment would be needs more bar stools & seating round the bar for evenings outside. Room was very nice when we had a problem with our hot tub we were moved to an upgraded room. The ambience of the cave restaurant was stunning, the Japanese food in the reception was very fresh & tasty but just feel in needs a more intimate setting & better tables to eat at. Jua restaurant was a beautiful setting sat outside, lots of variety & hot food, Elizabeth served us most days & was so attentive knowing our drinks order in advance. Pool entertainment was very good & every one of the staff whatever their position were friendly respectful & happy. Overall cleanliness in rooms restaurant & rest rooms was excellent.

Just got back from a great time at a wonderful hotel. Nice location with great swimming water (better than the east coast and definitely better than the crowded north). We enjoyed a relaxing time amongst staff who do try. Good excellent also. We fully recommend this resort and we have lived in Zanzibar for 18 months so we know a little about the place.
