Thank you for a lovely stay during the SeroSelectTB national project conference by KCMUCo in Moshi. All of the participants had a wonderful time at Weru Weru River Lodge. The rooms are very comfortable and the second floor rooms are exceptional! The food and service are excellent! We will return for our final consortium meeting in September 2025! I stay now 8 weeks in North-Tanzania, this is the BEST PLACE….this is exellent..!!!!!!!!! I cycled more than 2.000 km, this is the best place for relaxing…. Rooms are perfect, i can not say 1 bad word…..shower….bed…. PERFECT… .enough space, balcony is very nice, I spend there many hours…. Staff are very helpfull, friendly, they will always help you…. For a sportman like me, breakfast is important : also breakfast is excellent..!!!!! You have everything for a healthy breakfast……. Weru Weru River Lodge is situated in the middle of the beautiful green nature of North-Tanzania with perfect view of the Mount Kilimanjaro…. Next time I will come back here…..

Stunning setting, great food, cleaner than a pin. Just perfect place to visit pre/post Kilimanjaro climb. Brilliant massage facilities. Everyone is friendly and caring, nothing is too much trouble. I felt cherished.

Old building with lots of things falling apart and not working...practically no WIFI, coffee maker did not work, loud music in the bar playing until midnight to celebrate people coming off successful hikes to Kilimanjaro without any regard for the people starting up the next morning. But OK value for the price

We were on Kilimanjaro and were 4 Nights in the Weru Weru Lodge. The Food is good, the Kilimanjaro Beer is very good an the people are very friendly. The massage before and after Kilimanjaro was just perfect. I was ab very good Hotel to stay and we will come back.

Friendly staff, good food, but a rather lacklustre hotel, which could be anywhere in the world, and tired-looking rooms that need updating. We had peeling paint in our bathroom, cracked tiles, two light bulbs in the room that didn't work which the staff could not replace as they were special ones that come from Nairobi and no mosquito net for my daughter's bed. The bar area was quite noisy until late at night, which you can hear in all the rooms. Weru Weru Lodge is about 20 minutes drive out of Moshi. There is nothing much to do in the surrounding area unless you get in a car and, although on a clear day, you can see Kilimanjaro from the road outside the hotel, you don't have a view of it from the hotel rooms. I think there are better options for a stay in and around Moshi.

Delicious and various kitchen, both for the dinner and breakfast. Staff super kind. Room large but just one towel for two people. Prices high in the bar. Nice garden. We received one double room instead of king bedroom: it was our first night of honeymoon 😀

The not so great start to the Holiday as we arrive 9pm after travelling for 16+ hrs with no rooms available to us as they double booked. We were a part of 8 with 3 kids from 10yrs to 15yes of age. Their sister lodge down the road was a lot nicer in accommodation. We managed to get a room on the 2nd night so had to move. Eating is outside which is lawn, so ensure you have bug spray, for the rooms as well. Food was okay but eating in the dark not overly nice. Staff were friendly and the kids loved the animals and exploring the area.

... Arusha, Kili, Moshi etc. We had a nice team buffet dinner. Maybe Salat was not as fresh as it looked so my recomm is stay away from cold salats here. Room was in a separate hut and had nets etc. It's affordable, too.
