Margaritaville Beach House Key West

It’s too far out from the main area although there’s a shuttle into town. All our clothes smelt damp after just 4 days of being there. The room felt very damp the bed especially. Pool is ok but I’m sure you’d struggle to get a sun bed in high season. The beach is nice across the street but the sunbeds are rentable from a company $$$

Close to the beach, room was good size, staff quite friendly, manager Mimi was very helpful to accommodate our wish for room with balcony, kudos to the chef - food was excellent!

We stayed for 4 nights over Christmas. My first time in Key West. I was leery about staying here because I read reviews that mentioned constant Jimmy Buffet music, which I really dislike lol, but it was the one property I found that had 3 queen beds at a reasonable price. I am so glad I booked Margaritaville! First, not constant Buffet music! Second, we didn’t have one bad meal at the on site restaurant, the food was excellent! The bartenders and drinks were excellent! The airport shuttle and hourly shuttle to and from Duval Street is so convenient! Every person we interacted with at the property were friendly and professional. I can’t wait to come back and I will definitely be staying here!

Very unhappy actually. But I know hurricanes and May have been the culprit for the shabby room - air conditioner was either blowing heat or sub zero temps. Did call to get it fixed and the guy who came was very nice. We just lived with it after he came 2 x’s. The room was worn down. The price was not worth it. Very very disappointed with this family.

Nice place for family stay in Key West, every hour shuttle service to/from citycenter and good white sandy beach across the road.

We traveled as a family with 3 small children, so we liked having a hotel away from Duval street. It was convenient being a 5 min shuttle drive from the airport to the hotel. The grounds are beautiful and the pool was a good size. We liked that the pool was heated too. We ate breakfast at the hotel most days, and the food was pretty good with attentive service. The shuttle to the downtown area was about 10-15 mins away and dropped off/picked up at a good location around a lot of good restaurants. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would likely stay here again if we ever travel to Key West again. The only negative I would say is that there was a hallway door right by our room and it slammed shut all day/night whenever anybody went through. We informed the front desk but nothing was ever done. We attempted to put a towel down to stop the door from slamming but it didn’t help.

We loved our stay here! Everyone was so nice and having the shuttle was so convenient. The only negative thing was the tub took a while to drain. Other than that everything was perfect. I would definitely stay here again!

The property itself is wonderful, their grounds keeper deserves a raise. The main area where you check in is very nice as well. I was not at all happy with the room. They are much larger in photos. The toilet was dirty, the mattress is old and squeaky, I'm 100lb and sunk in where it is worn. It is very loud through out the night with doors slamming ( the ones that take you to inside corridor) We were told garden view, The garden view is the parking lot with brush. We were using the pool and dining options until a young lady with short brown hair and boy shorts that works there told us we would have to pay 150.00 to eat our lunch on the outdoor couch with table. We were next to the pool and felt it was better to move away and using a table to eat lunch and the waiter was fine with it as they were all empty. She was pretty rude so after that we never went back to the pool nor did we eat there again. The hammock was destroyed and you have to pay extra for beach chairs across the street. The shuttle was wonderful concept for when we didn't feel like driving. I asked about late check out due to flight and they don't do that. We will not return nor recommend. I also had a extra bill charged to my card 245.00 resort fee as if they aren't over priced enough. I consider this more of a 2-3 🌟 hotel.
