Casa Caribe @ Duval Square

The Caribbean Cottage in Center Court, Key West, Florida was fantastic, elegantly decorated and extremely clean. The adult pool area ambience was relaxing and private. Naomi, the host (owner) is a gem; responsive, down to earth, very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend Caribbean Cottage to all, convenient to Duval St (one block over).

Stayed 4 nights..Friendly,Shower efficient hosts on site to welcome you there. A small kitchenette, but it has all the trimmings. Bedroom/bed,(king size), is cute comfy and clean! Bathroom is small overall, but the shower is very adequate and roomy enough. Shower water pressure though leaves much to be desired..Outdoor furniture, under a nice covered area, is very nice. A hot tub is yours for the duration! Would stay there again!! Excellent location to Duval St.

Center Court was such a great place to stay! We stayed in the “Family House.” The location is prime, as it’s just a short walk from Duval St., with plenty of restaurants, bars and shopping nearby. We spent a lot of time at the pool during the day and loved having the private hot tub at night. We utilized both on-site pools, but did discover that the larger pool located across the street was much colder than the other pool and had a little more shade. That didn’t stop us from using the other pool though. 😊The smaller pool did have a covered area with a table and fridge that was available to use for your food or drinks etc. For amenities, this suite had literally everything you could ever need and more (fully stocked kitchen, etc). The grounds are impeccably well-kept and the staff kept our suite very clean and provided us with fresh beach towels daily. Parking was stress-free, as they allowed us to park on the street right outside the property. Would definitely recommend this property and would absolutely stay here again!

I stayed at McCartney Manor with my wife for six nights and it was a mostly pleasant experience. The property is VERY small, but you really don't want to spend time indoors while vacationing in Key West. The accommodations are extremely well-maintained: granite countertops in kitchen, perfectly clean bathroom, clean tile floors, very comfortable bed, etc. It is basically a studio apartment. There is a half-sized fridge, sink, dishwasher and plenty of kitchen utensils, cups, bowls, etc. There is excellent internet and plenty of TV channels when you are in the room. There is good security to get into the property: a combo lock to enter the main property, another combo to enter the actual location and a third combo for the door to enter the room. The location is exceptional being 1/2 block off Duval and within walking distance of everything. There is a CVS across the street to grab what you might need for the room. We did take an Uber one time to the opposite side of Key West and it was $20. Two items to be aware of that are not the fault of the property, but are inconveniences: 1. If you have a vehicle the parking is IMPOSSIBLE. The street where this lodging is located is one-way and narrow with cars parked along both sides of the street. There is public parking somewhat nearby but it is very expensive - think big city rates. I was fortunate that my adult daughters were staying at the Doubletree so I gave them the car I drove down with and they kept it parked there. 2. There are "wild" roosters and chickens that wander across much of Key West. Yes, the rooster are loud and make their noises very early in the morning just like on a farm. My wife and I were not thrilled to hear roosters at 6 or 7 am while spending a lot of money on a vacation.
