David is a great host from the moment you arrive until you depart. He is a font of local information and a storyteller. His rooms are spotless and spacious. He is located just a few minutes from Ballybunion golf course. He offers several hot breakfast options and can get you going early if you have n early tee time. We enjoyed our stay.

We had the most amazing stay last weekend, we were made so welcome, the host could not do more for us and the b and b was absolutely perfect. We will 100% be coming back and we are already planning our next trip back later this summer. The best Irish breakfast we have had, thank you for the best weekend we loved every minute of it!

I cannot say enough good things about this B&B! The location is perfect only a short drive or walk into town. The rooms were clean and very spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the pillows were the fluffiest we have ever felt! The hospitality was above and beyond, they provided us with tips and tricks as we continued on our travels, and the breakfast was amazing. I wish we had stayed longer, I would stay here again in a heartbeat, and I would recommend this place to anyone that was staying in the area.

We stayed in The Tides for 4 nights, we had a great enjoyable stay.Our room was very comfortable,we got great nights sleep. The breakfast was spot on , full lrish ! And set us up for the day.David and Doreen wer lovely people , full of chat. We would highly recommend it and will definitely be back , please God.

We had a very enjoyable night on The Tides. We arrived earlier than 3 Pe red but that was not a problem for our very hospitable hosts. Very comfortable night's sleep and a fab breakfast. The hosts were very helpful and accomodating. Couldn't ask for anymore.

Highly recommend! The room was comfortable and spacious. The hosts were gracious and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious. Easy to find. Host gave us great recommendations on food and sights not to miss. We arrived late and they were very accommodating.

Best bed i’ve slept on in all of Ireland! The owners are the nicest people I’ve ever met, they even made me a pancake when I expressed how much I wanted one, because my brother ordered them and I didn’t. They were SO good! My whole family of 7 expressed how if we were to ever come back to Ireland we would definitely stay here at least a week.

Loved my stay at the Tides Ballybunion. David and Doreen are genuine lovely hosts. Rooms are clean and spacious. Beds are super comfortable and the shower is best in Ireland for sure! Breakfast was superb. Highly recommend, 5 star all the way. Looking forward to come back again.

My wife and I have just returned from a wonderful holiday in Ireland, of which the most enjoyable part was the 5 nights we spent at The Tides, from 17th May to 22nd May 2024. I had originally cancelled my booking, thinking it was a shared toilet, thankfully David & Doreen got in touch, stating it was an en-suite we had. We're so glad they did, our suite was spotless, the breakfast choices & quality were very good, especially the crepes. We were always made very welcome, David & Doreen were great hosts. David in particular would spend time chatting to us every morning as he served the breakfast. He is a faunt of all knowlege regarding the golf courses around, as well as recommending eateries in Ballybunion, Tralee and Killarney. I had mentioned on the 3rd day that we had celebrated our Pearl anniversary on the 18th, when we returned to our suite that night, there was a lovely bottle of wine on a silver tray with two glasses, accompanied by a congratulatory message. We will be making this our base for any future visits to Kerry, of which, god willing there will be many more.
