Booked a brief 6-hour overnight stay to catch a few hours sleep & a shower between long flight days, was worth every penny. Got in just after midnight in late June & took a pic of the ocean from my balcony, beautiful! Everything was clean, comfortable, & the staff very nice & accommodating. Hotel only a couple of miles from the airport.

I'd asked for a quiet room but instead was across the street from a VERY noisy pub & got almost no sleep. The shower didn't work. The breakfast buffet consisted of cold cuts & juice boxes.

i had such a wonderful time at this hotel. the staff folks were lovely and always there to chat about any needs.
they even told us they would come to the pub across the street and let us know if the northern lights were visible on those nights. which they were and it was a beautiful location to see them with the ocean just behind the hotel.
also really love the pub across the street, such nice folks all around that area. i'll be coming back yearly.

My flight was late in coming in, and though I phoned early for a pick up no one was there to meet me so paid another cab driver for the 3 mile ride. The woman who received me was not to pleased with my condition-had a congestion and no mask, was cold (wearing shorts for England was in a heatwave when I left), the room had two beds only one was covered with a airy pillow. The room faced the ocean and it was gale force winds. One of my windows would not shut and had to keep the curtains closed making the room not any warmer. I was a flight up and too tired to go downstairs. Breakfast was flimsy. For the cost of my stay I am surprised how thrifty the details were. It is in a prime location but not satisfying for my needs. I explained my condition before I left and cab free back to the airport. I am sure there were better rooms and better conveniences I was the unlucky one. I will not return to this location. My personal view but doesn't have to be for all.

We booked a queen bed room and got placed in a small room with three single beds. Very uncomfortable and felt like I was sleeping in college dorm with nothing but three tiny beds. Would like to have a refund.
The breakfast was a continental breakfast. The person at the desk and the gentleman taking care of the place were nice.

Our first trip to Iceland was, for lack of a better word: magical! Our stay at Hotel Keilir was the perfect end to an unforgettable journey and recharged us to make the voyage back home. Would recommend to anyone A++

The website says 24 hour free round trip airport shuttle. They charged me 20 euro for the trip back to the airport and showed me some vague language justifying it that is not easily found. Also, website says there is an elevator, but there's not. I had to lug my bags up 2 flights with no help. Everyone working there has a bad back according to the clerk

It was definitely much less quality than the price and pictures would indicate.
They only provide you two glasses in the room. No coffee, coffee maker, hot water, tea… anything. It was the most bare bones room we had ever seen.
Room was not ready when we got there around 3:30pm (check in was 3pm) and the place was just not in good condition. Definitely needs some repairs.
Like other reviews said, they claimed to have an airport shuttle, but don’t tell you that you can only use during the hours of your stay. We had a slight at 5pm, but had to take the shuttle at 12pm because that was our checkout. Also; the “shuttle” just appeared to be an employees car. Not ideal.
