Ammon Zeus Luxury Beach Hotel

Stayed here for a week in May 2024. Hotel is lovely but I feel it is more of a 4 star than 5 star luxury hence my rating of 4 out of 5. Staff are all truly lovely, very friendly and polite. Couldn’t fault any of the staff at all. Hotel is very clean, grounds are lovely and everything looks nice. Beach is lovely with comfy sun beds on beach and around pool. Reason for my 4 out of 5 rating is for the following. Found the beds very uncomfortable. Felt they were too firm. Despite advertising rooms had air conditioning we didn’t have this. Upon arrival we asked how to get it working and was told it’s too early in season to put it on and was ok to leave patio doors open as no mosquito’s at this time of year. The room was far too stuffy so we had to leave patio door open to get some air in and I was bitten all over my legs which I was very disappointed about. No soap in bathroom so nothing to wash your hands with. Hotel said they don’t provide it so had to use shower gel. We was half board and found certain items of hot food at both breakfast and dinner was luke warm. Nowhere to get any lunch. We were told the restaurant that you could get lunch wasn’t opening until the day before we were due to come home and only thing we could get was a pizza from the pool bar. Not ideal as sometimes you just want a snack. Call buttons on parasols on beach to request a drink didn’t work which nobody informed us about so not sure why there was there. I did have a nice stay but I do not think this is 5 star luxury at all.

Beautiful spot on beach. Comfy chairs on beach. Anything you need you will find within walking distance. Friendly and helpful staff. The reason for 4 not 5 stars is for me I did not like that we had no air conditioning in room. They have ac but not on because it was early in season and room was stuffy. Had to keep balcony door open and when closed it to sleep it became too warm.

Excellent service in a hotel of unique environment, very friendly stuff, great quality of food and drinks. I would recommend Ammon Zeus hotel for couple and family holidays as you can get advantage of the beach in front of the hotel as well as the nearby destinations for daily excursions

We have never stayed in an hotel that was so close to the beach, and what a gorgeous beach it is. The hotel was beautifully clean and maintained. All the staff were wonderfully polite and cheerful and helpful. The public areas were very attractive. The main dining room was nicely presented and there were a great variety of foods on offer. A minor criticism would be that the hot buffet food was not really maintained at a hot enough temperature. Being quite late in the season, we were not surprised to find that some local bars and restaurants were closed or closed while we were there but this didn’t detract from our enjoyment. Overall we had a brilliant holiday. Our only other minor criticism is that, for our taste, the bed mattresses were rather too firm, but a Metaxa brandy nightcap helped to mitigate the issue 😂

We stayed in this lovely hotel for 5 nights last October & had the most marvellous holiday! Hotel has lovely private beach, we had a sea view room overlooking the serene turquoise sea , spacious balcony & spacious room! A truly 5 star experience from the staff! We travel every couple of months & in our experience it is the staff that can elevate any holiday to a really great experience & the staff here did not disappoint

This was our first visit to Greece, and to this hotel. Generally the hotel was very nice. However, there are two or three issues we need to point out which will explain why we have rated it 4 out of 5. Firstly, the beds were not that comfortable. I found them to be a bit firm. The food, whilst there was a good choice at every sitting was l uke warm on most occasions. I know of other travellers we met, who had mentioned this to the restaurant staff, but things didn’t change while we were there. The third point, was the cleanliness of the toilets in the public areas, but mainly the reception area near the lifts. They were far from clean. It is our opinion, that because of the aforementioned issues, we do not believe this is a 5 star hotel, but probably 4 star. The upside, was the staff, especially Stefanos, Despina and Katerina, all in the restaurant. We have singled these three out as being exceptional. All of the other staff were great too, from the reception, the cleaners, and other restaurant staff. Please take this as constructive feedback.

the location is incredible ,cleanliness almost obsessive and i have not met the food,the service and its freshness in any other hotel until now.I will definitely come back,but not next year,because i want to really miss going back. Anything you do to often becomes commonplace and i do not want that do happen. Really is a green oasis near by the sea.

The stay was truly a remarkable journey that evoked a sense of well-being and tranquility. The hotel, poised in a majestic location, has direct access to its very own pristine sand beach. This exclusive feature added a unique charm to our stay. The beach was impeccably maintained, presenting us with crystal-clear waters that felt like a refreshing oasis. The space was never crowded and there was always an abundance of loungers available, making our beach time relaxing and private. We were thoroughly impressed by the team at the hotel. The level of friendliness and genuine care we received from the staff was unparalleled. Always accommodating, their ever-present smiles created an atmosphere of familiarity and comfort that felt like home. We developed a deep affection for them, and they have certainly won a place in our hearts. The services provided by the hotel were nothing short of top-notch, whether it was on the beach, at the reception, in our room, or at the restaurant. There was not a single moment where we felt the need for anything more, as every need was anticipated and catered to with perfection. Our room was always spotless, offering us a serene space to unwind. The culinary experience at the hotel was simply outstanding. From the breakfast buffet to the dinner buffet, the food was nothing short of a gastronomic adventure. Each meal was a feast that left us both satisfied and eager for the next. The variety and quality of dishes meant that our taste buds were constantly delighted and our cravings were always met. The hotel is also conveniently located within a 5-minute walk to the local town, adding an extra element of exploration and adventure to our stay. The hotel has undoubtedly earned its stars and provided us with a luxurious and memorable experience. We wouldn't hesitate for a moment to book here again. A heartfelt thank you to everyone at the hotel who contributed to making our stay an unforgettable one. A special mention must be made for Maria at the reception. Her efficient service, warm hospitality, and genuine interest in our comfort truly enhanced our experience and made us feel incredibly valued as guests. Her attention to detail and caring nature elevated our experience from great to exceptional. We will definitely be back, and when we do, we look forward to seeing Maria's welcoming smile at the reception once again.

Amazing hotel! - Crystal clear blue water with soft warm clean sand - Stunning sunrises from sea room views - Delicious food (try Greco’s special menus on Friday) - Wonderful staff! All around a luxurious and relaxing summer vacation :) would recommend particularly to young families and couples!
